Yeah I'd like to know benefits, side effects, pain (****...), experiences, and more because I'm considering to have mine circumsized. Also if I decide to get mine... where would I?

Pain is most common during the first two weeks, and it takes about a month of healing (no sex or masturbation until then). Unlike newborns you'd have it numbed or be put to sleep. You'd go to a urologist for that surgery.

Some of the side effects include less sensitivity, higher ED rates, and difficulty with masturbation. I'll mentioned and link the medical studies below. Research it well; it's a permanent surgery. There's no going back. It's become less popular as time goes on (the USA is the last developed nation doing it, and even our rates have fallen to as low as 14%).

Circumcision is a traditionally Jewish and Muslim surgery, although it was introduced and encouraged to the Western, developed world (North America and Europe, but especially the USA) as a way to stop masturbation, especially with the help of Dr. Kellogg. (see link 1) However, although scientific studies have discovered that circumcision harms masturbation by up to over 60% (2), needless to say, it doesn’t completely stop masturbation. Many circumcised guys just find it more convenient to use a lube like KY or lotion as a result (3) since the typically moist foreskin (like the eyelids) is not there to rub the head of the penis with (4).

Most developed nations quickly rejected circumcision after noticing its ineffectiveness against masturbation (they were quite religious back then!), and as a result the United States remains the last developed nation doing it to a significant percentage of newborns. (5) This was done as a result of the for-profit American health care system promoting myths about benefits of circumcision (6), such as preventing penile cancer (6a, 6b), preventing HIV (6c, 6d) despite the USA being the developed nation with the highest HIV rates and circumcision rates (6e, 5), and preventing STDs (6d, 6f). As a result, circumcision now brings in hundreds of millions of dollars to doctors and the American health system. (7)

However, circumcision has been becoming less popular as years have passed by. In the 1960s over 90% of guys were circumcised in the USA, now circumcision rates are as low as 14% in some states. (8) More and more parents are discovering that circumcision carries more risks than benefits, and realize that by leaving their sons uncircumcised, their sons have the choice of choosing what they’d like, since the surgery is irreversible (you can't go back if you don't like it or if it goes wrong).

Circumcision risks include the loss of sexual pleasure according to multiple studies (2, 9, 10, 11). Those studies take into effect many sensation points, including the foreskin, and they involve many participants. There have been other studies that claim no difference, but they don’t even take into effect the nerve endings on the foreskin, which as seen in one study, are some of the most sensitive points on the penis (10). One study even found an increase in erectile dysfunction rates after circumcision (10a). In another study, it was found that females ended up reaching orgasm with and preferring uncircumcised males in 9 out of 10 cases (10b). In addition, circumcision is extremely painful on newborns (12, 13, 14), and you risk many bad conditions, such as a buried penis when too much foreskin is removed and limits the size of the penis (15), or adhesions or skin bridges that develop from the head to the shaft when the skin heals after the surgery (16), meatal stenosis [occurs in up to 10% of circumcised males!] when the opening of the penis becomes irritated from too much exposure and rubbing and begins to close up (17), and meatal ulcers (18). All those risks are, of course, not including the possibility of having too much skin removed, which can cause discomfort during erections due to lack of skin to allow the penis to expand, and could consequently cause a hairy penis by pulling pubic hair and skin to the shaft. Often a circumcision scar develops around the penis after circumcision. In addition, circumcision has negative effects on breastfeeding. (18)

To conclude, here is a link that describes the anatomy of the foreskin (19) and the development of the foreskin with infants, a link especially helpful for parents (19a). Ultimately, one survey found that although uncircumcised guys are a bit more satisfied percentage-wise, it’s within the margin of error. (20) The only difference is that those unsatisfied uncircumcised guys can simply get circumcised and end up satisfied either way. If you're cut or uncut and happy, you'll say that side is better. If you got cut later in life, you'll say cut because you had problems with your foreskin before. If you're cut and had something go wrong or wish to have had a choice, then you'll say uncut. One survey found that up to half of circumcised guys wished to have had the choice themselves (as in, been left uncircumcised and they could have chosen to get circumcised if they wished later on in life). That's a huge number. (21) That, along with the risks and negative effects that are being seen more with the help of the Internet, may be what is bringing down circumcision rates.

I think you should have a very serious google and read all you can about this (bearing in mind there is some biased information out there).

Regarding benefits, nothing has been proven. Some people prefer it. That's about all. It really depends how much you like your foreskin. Does it give you pleasure? Do you like it when it slides over the head? If so then I don't know why you'd want to remove it. If you don't like it for whatever reason though then you may prefer being circumcised. but it will probably change stuff like how you masturbate you will probably need lube and also you might lose sensitivity. About girls yeah some people say some American girls like cut but really you don't need surgery to be attractive to a girl. Plenty of girls dont' care, or prefer intact: http://www.sexasnatureintendedit.com

Adult males lose 15 square inches (40 square centimetres) of skin in circumcision, over half the skin of your penis. You lose the gliding action as it slides on itself during masturbation and sex. You will suffer bruising, perhaps some bleeding, and the swelling from the disruption to the lymph system goes on for up to six months. Removing the foreskin turns the surface of the glans from an inner mucosal membrane to outside skin. Newly circumcised adults usually go through some weeks of intense discomfort as the glans is constantly exposed to rubbing on clothing, until it develops a thicker keratin layer and becomes less sensitive. You must abstain from ALL sexual activity for an average of six weeks. Some men like the final result but others complain of loss of sensation and miss being able to slide their foreskin over the glans. Circumcised guys often have little or no movable skin left and are forced to masturbate using lube or rubbing dry, without the loose skin. There is no going back if you don’t like the result.
A new study has shown real differences in fine touch sensitivity between circumcised and intact penises and that the most sensitive parts of the intact penis are those that would be removed by circumcision.
Many women who get to interact sexually with an intact penis prefer the natural state. Don’t do this to yourself just to fit in. Be proud of your whole and natural body.

Don't know why you would consider this at your age, unless it is a medical emergency. You should be grateful you were spared at birth, not unlike so many others. Learn to appreciate what you were born with and realize how much fun it can be for you and others.

In todays world there really is no need for it except for ascetic reasons (such as appearance). Unless you are having some difficulty achieving an erection cause your foreskin is too tight.
A visit to your doctor will get you all the information you need, if he does not do it himself, he will most likely refer you to a Urologist, who can do it for you.

Google it, and you'll probably find that its not worth doing unless you have a medical defect with your foreskin. But what the heck, its your penis, and if you wanna chop part of it off for whatever reason, its up to you.

Talk it over with your doctor. I was done some years ago and have never regretted it. Easier personal hygiene, better erections and staying power during intercourse. And most girls seem to prefer it. You will be sore for a few days afterwards and you must take the post-operative care instructions seriously, but it is a minor operation done under local anaesthetic. Good luck!.

Circumcision is highly beneficial and can be performed painlessly at any age. Circumcised men enjoy better hygiene, health, comfort, appearance, self-esteem and FAR better sexual sensation during intercourse for both themselves and their female partner(s). Also, most experienced women much prefer a circumcised man as a sexual partner. There are no disadvantages to being circumcised and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
