Yes it can cause serious gastrointestinal problems. I know, it happened to me. I had a root canal done last year and I was told to take 4 motrin twice a day for pain. I had severe pain and so I was taking them for about 4 days, 8 pills a day! Not long after I stopped taking them, I started experiencing nausea first thing in the morning before I would even have a thing to eat. I would take a sip of water and I would feel like I was going to throw up but never did. This went on for a few weeks. Not everyday but every couple of days. Then I started experiencing a bloated stomach. Long story short, I saw my doctor and he said it was more than likely from all of the ibuprofen I took. I am fine now and have not experienced that again. Ibuprofen taken in high dosages like I took can do damage to the lining in your stomach and can cause ulcers. When i broke my ankle my doctor told me to take 800mg of Ibuprofen, but not for more than a week because they can damage your liver after awhile. If you are unsure just call the doctor's office or pharmacy and ask them because they know everything about that stuff. Good Luck and I hope you get better soon!

The best medicine to use is whatever works. Just be sure to take the med with a full glass of milk or a meal.

If you're not going to take anything with it, Tylenol, hands down, is the one least likely to cause ulcers and stomach upset.

IB profin destroys your liver, is an enzyme inhibitor, meaning... They stop cells from successfuly regenerating youthful tissues like they are supposed to. So, they cause injuries, not prevent them. like widdeling away at your joint tissues or causing osteo arthritis in later years.

Aspirin causes the brain to bleed about a teaspoon of blood with each dosage because it actually expands blood vessels. Its a very subtle process, so you don't notice it, but it is scientific fact. Its not the kind of bleeding like a stroke victim, but its leakiness all over and re-absorbed back into the body.

You probably have headaches just about every day because you are deficient in something.

In order to find out what that is, message me with your eating habits, including any artificial sweeteners if you use them and what fluids you drink every day.

The fourth leading cause of death is from properly prescribed drugs and its equivalant to a 747 Jumbo jet crashing every single day. Most of these prescription drugs are anti inflammatory drugs, which are enzyme inhibitors that leave nutritional deficienies in their wake... Thus, people take over the counter IB profin or asperin and mix it with the meds they are on and it this causes accidental deaths as well.

If you are taking pain meds every single day, don't be drinking any alcohol. It made the news that a man's liver went necrotic... Meaning, it simply rotted away just like an alcoholics liver even though he was a moderate drinker... All he did was take IB profin every other day. So, its more dangerous than you think.

They can cause gastrointestinal bleeding so anybody with a history of bleeding or ulcers should not take them. If you're having headaches every day, you should see your doctor who can determine the cause of your headaches and offer an effective treatment.
