my wife has gone thru the full chemo treatment for breast cancer, and had a masectomy last week.

now the doctor said the pathology test show she has vascular space invasion. she had 6 lymph nodes removed as weell - the chemo killed the cancer in this.
what is the news about this - survival-recurrance-treatment. please give it to us straight, thanks

i've been reading bout a problem called TMJ and i think i might have it. Everytime i try to move my jaw from left to right, it hurts. I hear a cracking sound when i try and move it. When i try and open my mouth, it doesnt move more then half an inch. It feels like it's stuck. Please help asap!!

I am Getting bridge on back bottom row of teeth 18,19,20.
19 missing due to bad root canal had to have extracted.
But I have went 4 days now and now I cannot stand the pain anymore.

I lift weights, a year ago I started eating every 3 hours to do something called keeping a positive nitrogen balance. Heres my question & concern...my undderstanding that we are trying to keep a positive nitrogen balance to increase testosterone to build muscle, my concern is that increasing testosterone increases DHT, which increases hair loss....my question is, am i right about the increasing testosterone part or any of this? Thanks.

My husband's family is nutty, to say in the least. His grandmother says and does stupid things to others all the time. She's a major hypochondriac and it shows up in two of her kids (one is on every herbal concoction - the other is on every medication possible). The women all are very emotional (more than normal). They all don't get along very well, as they say and do hurtful things to each other. His sister is the same way. I kind of thinks it's a female thing; but one of his uncles is on antidepressants. Anyone know what the deal is here?

My wife has braces and a small overbite. Before she can get her bottom braces on, the orthodontist said she needs time for the top ones to "open things up" a bit so she's not biting on the bottom braces when they get put on.
Because she was told a lot of things and asked a lot of questions, this one kind of got missed.
Does anyone know how braces for an overbite would "open up" anything so a person wouldn't hit the bottom braces with the top teeth? You'd think that with a slight overbite you wouldn't want anything more "open".
We don't get it.
Will be asking him at the next visit but are curious now. lol

does that mean 22 months since you get your full set of braces? or 22 months since you get your bottom braces? (I got my bottom braces first, then a few months later, my top braces.)

A friend of mine in another state (PA), I am in SC. She told me a story that happened to her and the more I thought about it the madder I became. I mean, its bad enough that INSURANCE COMPANIES TRY TO PLAY "DOCTOR" BY DENYING CERTAIN PRESCRIPTIONS! But she told me a doctor phoned in her prescription, and when she went to pick it up (on a Friday) the pharmacist told her he was NOT going to fill it! The Rx was by HER DOCTOR, and was APPROVED by her INSURANCE CO. WHAT RIGHT DOES THIS PHARMACIST HAVE TO DENY WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY HERS? She asked him "when" she could get it. He replies "MONDAY" AND SHE SAID TO HIM, "OK, MONDAY MORNING?" HIS REPLY WAS: "NO, MONDAY AFTERNOON!" This is my best friend in another state, and I was VERY UPSET THAT SHE WAS DENIED HER MEDICATION!!! SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THIS??? DID ANYONE EVER HAVE THIS HAPPEN TO THEM. I AM REALLY CURIOUS AS TO WHERE THE PHARMACIST GETS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE HER MEDS??? PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND, SO I CAN RELAY TO HER.

I'm just wondering how it's done and whether it hurts. I've had root canal done on that tooth before but now they want to extract it, and the dentist told me he'd have to do a surgical tooth extraction. So how long does it take and does it hurt? because "surgery" sounds like it would.

So I have an issue with my gallbladder. I get really painful attacks that last 1-5hours!
It doesnt only happen when I eat fatty foods, and when I DO eat fatty foods....nada. I dont think I have stones but 1-2 times a week I will get these awful pains. They keep me from functioning. I will hurt so bad I vommit.

What are some options, other than surgery?
I am making an appt for a gastro-int and would like to know what all to expect at my visit? I want to be prepared to make the most of it and begin ANY kind of treatment.

On the past few weeks I have to induce vomit after I eat otherwise I feel weird. Also, I feel hungry but just the fact of eating makes me sick. I only feel like eating plain lettuce. In addition, I feel overweight, I am 5'8" 170 pounds. Size 12, Please help should I seek proffessional help, or is this normal.
