does that mean 22 months since you get your full set of braces? or 22 months since you get your bottom braces? (I got my bottom braces first, then a few months later, my top braces.)

Your ortho probably meant when you get your first set of braces. However, these time frames aren't exact at all. They can extend or contract by years even. Keep asking your ortho every few visits if you want a more updated time frame. I would guess you'll have them on anywhere from 18-26 months, depending on how bad your bite and alignment are. Just hang in there and keep your eyes on the prize.. which is a beautiful smile :D

It depends when he told u that.If he said 22 when u got ur bottom start counting from there but if he said it when you got ur full then thats it.
