It's a callus. Crepitation (or crepitus) is the crunching sound that one hears or feels when pushing on broken bones (the ends grind against one another) or when pushing on areas of the skin that have air in them (either from a punctured lung or infection from a gas producing organism). Luxation refers to laxity in the joint. Never heard of creitus - did you misspell crepitus?
