The word is 'episode', specifically used in this context:
A boy who has a heart-attack is advised not to go out too often, otherwise he would have an episode. I wonder what 'episode' means in this circumstance.
More context:
-"If you took him outside, it'd be easy for him to have an episode'
-'if he doesn't have an episode, it'd be fine'
-if he wasn't near the hospital when one happens, it would be fatal.
-Those episodes are just fights against time.
-he's fine now, but his stamina decreases. When he has an episode, his condition can change completely.

Also, how should I understand the sentence "Those episodes are just fights against time"? Please and thank you for your help

I'm 13. I was 6 stone 4 and i have just dropped even more weight to 5 stone 5. I am 5 ft 2.5. I really want to be tall when i grow up!!! Any food i can eat to help my height?
I went to the doctors, he ran some blood tests and it came back that I have a very low calcium level- stunting my growth, and very low blood sugar- risking diabetes.
How can i get these two back up to in a healthy range?
I'm going to a clinic to help, but until i go, any answers?
Please only serious or professional answers.
Also i don't want to be fat. I want to be healthy but stay on the skinny side. Is that possible?

My best mate (40yrs old) is going through hell, he has been living with a younger girl (25yrs old) and they have a baby girl she also has a 5 yrs old son who calls my mate dad, for some time Clair (his girlfriend) has been acting strange she has been up and down and can change like the wind, but a few days ago she said she was getting thoughts about abusing the kids and she said she had abused the baby, social services are now involved and she has beed taked to a mental health home, we are not sure what is going to happen everyone is telling my mate to leave her etc she was raped as a kid and I know what it is like to be depressed and in trouble but what she has done is unforgiveable I think he should leave her how could he ever trust her again, no one will accept her do you think I am right ?

Is there any way to prevent nausea? Does it mean I have a weak body? I get nausea pretty easily. I feel like vomitting during long car rides or long runs. Anyone know a way to prevent this from happening? It is quite a disadvantage during fitness classes/roadtrips.

This summer I started a really bad sleeping habit. I would sometimes stay up till 6-7 am, talking on the phone or going on the computer, sometimes just watching tv. Now I stay up as late as 4-5 am. What can I do? I want my sleeping schedual to be back to normal before school starts next week. I feel tired durring the day and at night but sometimes I just can't fall asleep. Could this be insomnia? Is there anything I can do?

He sliced his pinky vertically and a nice piece of skin came off. The whole outside area of the pinky is gone!. He went to the emergency room at 8:30pm. He just got home at 3am and its still bleeding alot!!!! They put gause and tape, they also gave him pain killers.. is that normal that he's still bleeding all this time?? You saw right through me. I had an herion addiction 5 years ago. My baby was born 9 months ago and it triggered severe fibro. My rhumy send me to see a neuropschiatrist yesterday(they work together) and he said is is highly likely that my body is craving the herion and it led to fibromyalgia. I am on 180mg dihydrocodeine that he wanted to take me off from and that is when I asked him to not do it,caused I crave opiods now and then. That is how he came to the diagnosis. I must see him next week and he want to put me on neurontin and some other meds and s..... (can't remember the name) to reduce the cravings). I feel so sad, because I finally admitted to my family that I still struggle with cravings. I thought having my baby will take away all of this rubbish and now I still sit with it. Although I have been clean from herion for 5 years, I feel weak inside, because I feel not good enough for him,but I give him all my ove and try to give him all the attention even if I am in pain.

Why not talk about how hunger pains are good for you? Hunger is your friend if you want to lose weight. If you stay hungry, I guarantee you will lose weight. Hunger 'pains' are short lived demands by your stomach telling you it wants food. What does the stomach know about how much food you should be eating? The answer is NOTHING!!!! As you fast, after 3 days your stomach will be shrinking and you will have less and less hunger 'pains'. Believe it or not it is much cheaper to not eat than to eat anything..

I need help because I'm always super paranoid about being pregnant. I always have this fear that if things are going well for me then i will get pregnant because I'm not allowed to have things go really well and I need to be punished as a way for the universe to balance or something (i know its messed up!). Things are going well for me now. I just graduated college in May and got a really good job right after i graduated. I just got a new car, and i've been dating a great guy for about 6 months now. So im really scared that i could get pregnant anytime and my life would be ruined. But im 23 and i've never had sex.
