Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress,
dietary and medical problems. By making
small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly,
insomnia can be cured. I found the information

You have to force yourself into the desired sleeping habit - get up at 6:00, regardless of what you have done all night -- and keep going all day. Go to bed at a normal time. You will sleep. If not, take a hot bath/shower and a glass of hot milk. If you don't believe this regimen works, think about the military. An enlistee doesn't have the option of sleeping late - everyone falls into the same schedule. Put yourself in "boot camp" I've been there, and I don't know anyone who couldn't sleep all night after 10:00! But you do have to discipline yourself

You need to reset your clock. Try to stay up all day with minimal sleep. For example, go to bed at 4-5 am, get up at 8am, fight it all day, then lay down at 8 pm. It will be hard to do, but it is the only way to natrually get back on track. Then repeat a similar schedule the next day. If all else fails, take a warm shower, pop a Benadryl and read a book until you get sleepy. Stay off the computer and the phone! It helps me to cool the room off too.

You didnt tell How much you sleep in the day time? If your total sleep is 7-9 hours, then you dont have Insomnia, for early sleep take dinner early, and go to long walk, within few days you will be reverted to your old timings. Dont worry nothing is wrong with you.

In the pharmacy there are hundreds of natural remedies that you can try to help you sleep try it out for a few days to get your body back in balance, another one is not to watch TV. or do Anny visual stimulation things 2 hours before bed time, have a bath and go to bed early and make sure your room is completely dark as light affects your body rhythm to think it is still day time.
Good luck

You have screwed up your sleep cycle. I am in the same boat and I had to rely on medication to get me back on track. You will have to go to bed at about 10-10:30 P.M. and try to sleep. If sleep doesn't come then you will have to buy natural melatonin and try it. There are also other natural sleep aids that you can buy in a natural health food store. If the habit is too serious for you to change then you will have to see your MD for a prescription for sleep. Ambien is the one I take. It is non-narcotic and works quite well. It is now available in generic form. However, my advice is to try to get to sleep without the sleep aids if possible. Good night.

Benadryl is secure for puppies. I've given it to mine. Your is a small puppy, like mine, so get the Children's chewable benadryl and holiday it into quarters(four portions). Give him one million of the quartered portions approximately an hour earlier than the flight. If he is very fearful while you land, you'll be able to supply him an extra approximately eight hours after the primary dose. Just to calm him down. Best of lucked. Hope I helped.

I do the same thing. I stay up all night, sleep till 4pm and feel like crap all week.
The best thing I have learned to do is to try to stay up a whole entire day, untill it's about 8pm the next day and go to sleep then.
I try to 'shock' my body back into normal sleeping.
It doesn't always stay, but it really helps me feel better.
Maybe try exercising during the early mornings, like 8-9am.

Try to get up early morning (7 am) even if you didn't sleep well the night before, and fulfill your day with work and entertainment, never delay your work to the next day, take intime reactions (Never delay your reaction or hide it).
Organize your time during the day.
Once you get home at night you will feel tired and sleepy.
Go to bed and enjoy sleeping and get up early on the next day.

When you get home..first off.Dont turn the TV or computer on..That is usually our first mistake.
Warm bath/shower...put on some music in the bedroom.dim lights.
Start doing this 2 weeks before school starts..your have to re programme your brain.(its like rebooting your system)..Your body has an amazing memory so you should be back to normal soon..
good luck
