The only psychological effects are ones you put on it your self. There are no psychological effects attached to masturbation nor are there any hazards to fertility, man hood or sexual health. Masturbation is a pure form of enjoyment., nothing else.

It will make your sex partner nervous giving a feeling that she (or he) is not playing her (or his) part properly to fully satisfy you sexually. This can be a problem only if you get addicted to it but other than that manstrubation is a normal behavior.
