Well, this may sound pathetic,(because I'm 14 gahh) -- but I'm deathly afraid of going to the dentist. Since I'm going to the dentist in a few days because of a very small cavity, I want some stories or stuff about what happened..

I got a really really bad sunburn on my ear in May during my vacation, it blistered and peeled quite badly. And now my ear is peeling again for no obvious reason...should I get this checked out, or did I maybe just burn my ear in California again?

so i've been on a very healthy diet for the past month and a half and have lost 10 lbs. I am just 10 lbs away from my goal weight, but today I went a little overboard. For the past 1.5 months, I've been eating 3 balanced meals a day, lots of veggies and fruits, and occasional exercise. Unfortunately, my dad happened to bring home those 16" combo pizzas from Sam's Club and I ended up eating 3 big slices today!!!. I exercised for an hour after lunch because of the guilt (although exercise shouldn't be used as a form of guilt reliever), and I seriously wanted to skip dinner to kind of even out the day, but i ended up eating dinner (brown rice + veggies). Here is what my day consisted of:

Breakfast: 2 slices of 100% whole grain bread (brownberry brand), small cup of skim milk, 1 medium-size banana, then 1.5 slices of pizza (I was soooo starving this morning)
Lunch: 1.5 slices of pizza, then another banana
Dinner: tiny bowl of brown rice+veggies, then another banana
=(

ok so my boyfriend cannot stand the idea of oral sex (on a girl)
he had a bad experience with one in his past and said he will NEVER do it again. this isn't fair to me at all. i know i am clean, i know i don't smell, and i just think that its extremely selfish of him to not even try it on me. i told him this and he just said "sorry, im never going to do it." what do i do???

I care so much about him... I really do. he's mentally unstable and I need to accept that . he's now gone from my life as he can't handle a relationship and it hurts me deeply. Has anyone else been through this same situation?

I had surgery on the right front of my brain 5 years ago twice to clip an anurysm and 6 months ago I began having siezures every once in awhile.. We've chalked it up to tussive syncopy until now but the siezure yesterday was violent and lasted around 15 mins. with an hour or more amnesia. I'm going for an E.E.G. but I can't have an M.R.A. ever again because of the metal clips. So, could it be adhesions?

Hi all sufferers
I am 51 years young
I play competitive tennis to a good standard three times a week, I also work out in a gym and am an active father of three.
I originally had my bout of irregular heart beats some 15 yrs now. I have had ECG echo grammes and blood tests all ok, apart from slow thyroid and occasional high blood pressure which is being controlled.
I can go weeks clear of missed beats but then, mainly whilst resting and for no reason off they go, My heart rate is normally between 50 and 60 then I would miss and gain, sometimes the heart slows 1 in 4. I use to panick but it has become part of life, but the uncertainty is always there. My physical well being is my guideline, Providing I can keep playing without any obstructions then I feel i`m ok well I hope I am

Just reading an article about a vote that went thru to allow the FDA to regulate not just the advertising of cigarettes, but also some of the toxic chemicals in them. I wonder if it's possible that it could be done so that smokers wouldn't be killing themselves as fast. What do you think?

If you have cervical cancer, is there a really good chance that you'll live normally after treatments,
or will you unfortunely not make it more often then you will...?

please answer.

I'm thirteen years old, using my mother's account to ask this question. I've had excema since I was very very young, since age 8 or 9. My father and my brother had it but their excema eventually went away. Mine didn't. And it got even worst after I turned ten and moved to a new state. Severe circular rashes oozing liquid began to appear on my arms, back and legs and even on my breasts . The medicine doctors prescribed to me here such as cortizone/elidel but they didn't do anything to help, only causing stretch marks. I eventually went to India to get treatment and with time, the circular rashes became inactive but didn't go away. Doctors have tried everything and are frustrated. I'm currently on a natural medicine that does something to my immune system that's slowly making it better. I'm really fed up, I've tried oils, vaseline, atopicclear, etc. But it's really affecting my life. I'm continuously teased at school and I cannot wear shorts/capris/short-sleeved shirts/skirts etc.

A few months ago I moved from the South to the Midlands. As many people know it is almost imposible to register with a NHS dentist and for all my efforts I have been unsuccesful in doing so. Never really had a problem with my teeth (until now) as they were looked after where i used to live. Over the past few days I have had a toothache develop that is now absolutely raging. I cannot afford private care - what can I do ? Please no silly answers such as pulling it out with pliers, there must be another way.

I just saw a question from another poster whose child has "flat feet" and trying to get advice on how to remedy this condition.
I have a 1yr old, just learning how to walk. What are the problems associated with "flat feet" and how do I prevent my daughter from having "flat feet"?

I had Bells Palsy 5 years ago and I think I'm addicted to the medicine they gave me to treat it.

Before I had the medicine I was always worrying about things I couldn't control and I 'd break out into uncontrollable sweats .
With the medicine I felt very numb but I didn't worry as much and I was actually doing better in school.

I told my mother about it and she just laughed and said " You were high".

Even though its been 5 years since I've took those pills I still feel like I'd be better with them. I actually miss taking them. Sometimes I wish I could get the pills back.

A few months ago I was using tylenol p.m to help me get to sleep. I didn't need the Tylenol I just needed a way to get to sleep.

I'm also a depressive and part of me is afraid that if I'm put on anti-depressants I'll become addicted to them. But the other part of me feels like I need to be on anti- depressants.
