I'm thirteen years old, using my mother's account to ask this question. I've had excema since I was very very young, since age 8 or 9. My father and my brother had it but their excema eventually went away. Mine didn't. And it got even worst after I turned ten and moved to a new state. Severe circular rashes oozing liquid began to appear on my arms, back and legs and even on my breasts . The medicine doctors prescribed to me here such as cortizone/elidel but they didn't do anything to help, only causing stretch marks. I eventually went to India to get treatment and with time, the circular rashes became inactive but didn't go away. Doctors have tried everything and are frustrated. I'm currently on a natural medicine that does something to my immune system that's slowly making it better. I'm really fed up, I've tried oils, vaseline, atopicclear, etc. But it's really affecting my life. I'm continuously teased at school and I cannot wear shorts/capris/short-sleeved shirts/skirts etc.

I eat mostly cheese/yougurt/milk out of all dairy products. I would really have to convince my mother if I were to lay off dairy products. She probably wouldn't believe me but i'll try. Does any one have any suggestions for soap people with excema should use?

have you tried using soya milk instead of cows milk ? my daughter had eczema for years i used oilatum to keep it at bey but it would always come back then someone told me that cows milk and dairy product often cause eczema flair ups in people so i started using soya milk she was clear in a six weeks. she til uses oilatum to keep herself soft and she cant use soaps but these measures seem to have done the trick.

I have had an eczema in my face for over 10 years and all creams and potions I got from any dermatologist only relieved the symptoms but did not heal it. Then I started to take Advanced Ambrotose Complex. Within 3 weeks was my eczema better. It is pretty much gone now, all you can see is a discoloration where the eczema was and that is starting to fade away.
You do mention that you are using your mother's account. Talk to you mom and ask her to give it a try because I have also noticed that other health issues got better, some disappeared totally and best of all: my skin got so much better, my hair is healthy and shining, my fingernails are getting better, my bones also are getting better.
I am ordering the stuff from this site:
http://www.mannapages.com/marianna/Country.aspx
It is not cheap, but one container will last you for 2 months if you start out with 4 scoops a day and then go down to the recommended dosis of 2 scoops a day. Give it 3 months. It works like nothing else I have ever tried. If you have any questions, send me an e-mail

i have been in a very similar situation i had excema really bad when i was 7 or 8 then it came back when i was bout 13 i had it really really bad for about 6 months-i spent lots of time crying and couldnt face school i repeatedly got prescribed cream after cream and i was on the cream with the highest strength but it was having little affect. i also went to have a test to see if i was allergic to anything that could be causing but apps. i wasnt they had never seen anything like this sort of excema n had to take photos etc. eventually after a what seemed like a lifetime it started to go away. i believe that stress caused it and whilst creams oils etc treat the external conditions you just need to stay strong and yes it will one day go away-dont get conned with miracle treatments however attractive they may seem nothing can immediatly cure it, sadly for me when the excema went the acne came and im now looking for endless products to cure that STAY STRONG and good luck xxxx

My whole entire family has excema, including me, and all you have to do is put lotion on ALL OVER 5 times a day and stay in the sun. Make sure the sun hit the infected areas. Like Tanning. So when u go home from school, sit out in the sun in a bathing suit or something. Make sure to do these two things EVERYDAY!! We all got rid of our excema and now none of us have it, if we see an area of skin starting to get infected with it again, we just do the same thng until it goes away.

repeating scripture and not knowing scripture is dangerous, cause ppl use it out of context. when paul wrote that, it had nothing to do with going to a doctor, or any of that. paul was talking bout LAZY christains. faith without works is dead. he was telling them that we all are called to do some type of job for the kingdom of God, and how can a person say that they have great faith and there are no works to show ur faith. God didnt call us to go to church for ten yrs and just sit on the pew and never do nothing for the kingdom. paul and none of the other apostles was lazy. what if paul would have been lazy, the new testament would be very short. your faith should make ppl want to work for the kingdom. the more u believe in jesus the more u want to work to get his name out there to a dying world. paul was actually saying in a nutshell, the more the faith the greater the work and sacrifice and lesser the faith, the lesser the work and the sacrifice.

Fish oil capsules. Avoid the chemicals - it just adds fuel to the fire. Stick with the natural remedies - and look online for ideas of the best things to have in your diet to help control it. Sorry for you - but I feel it will get better, since you are so determined to find an answer. I don't think dermatologists help - they just want your $$$.

Ketoconazole tablets orally. Investigate it online.
The steroid creams will only make it worse, even though every dermatologist wants to shove them all over you.

that is very sad. I am sure you have tried this, but...... vitamin E? If you go to Costco (the store) they sell bottles. I use it and it clears up dry skin. if you put the "oily part" onto the skin and not swallow, it should help.
sorry for your Excema!
