What you need to do in addition to calculating your BMI is to measure your body fat percentage, which is the best indicator of how healthy you are. I am pretty sure you are in the ideal range, but you are getting close to the upper limit, which is around 157/8. The lower range is about 118 lbs.

And to put things in perspective for you, I'm 5'7", male and 160 lbs. I'm also under 10% body fat which means I have a lot of lean tissue. I would say that an ideal weight in terms of proportions would be around 130-135 for your height. If you do a decent amount of strength training and are able to build a lean physique, that range could easily increase to about 145 lbs while still allowing you to look more like 120-125 lbs. Leanness is the key to looking slim, not weight.

Do you think you are ok? Because it really shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks of your body or weight.

Yeah, I can say you sound great (and you do), but unless you truly believe this then it won't make any difference what I or anyone else says to you.

I can't tell you if you are healthy, but you sound like you have a good shape. You are not overweight or chunky.
