My finger nails have a darker colour just above the cuticles I am worried anybody got any ideas what can cause this, I am a bit worried.

i dont really know whut size bra i am .ican fit into a 36A just fine. but i can fit into a 34B as well ? maybe its the brand of the bra . im not sure . its kind of a big jump so i was sort of confused?

I had to go to the doctor for pains in my abdomen two days ago they ruled out kidney problems and u.t.i. and stuff they said to monitor it for a couple of months and gave me naproxen for pain. no other pain killers work i know a nurse who is certified to give more meds than recomended on the conainer. she gave me a bunch of medicie it didnt help. so....... how well does naproxen work??? and what are the side affects???

I am close to somebody who is a compulsive liar, well, I am fairly confident this person is. As much as I want to sever the friendship, I truly think this person needs help and has lost control. It is something I have never confronted my friend about, instead I just sort of "swept it under the rug."

But I think this friend knows that I know I am constantly being lied to. Should I confront? Should I do it tactfully, or firmly and lay out the proof? Is there anything I can do? How should I handle the situation?

(I also posted this in the psych. forum, but I'm hoping to get different perspectives)...Thanks!

It seems like most doctors don't actually LISTEN to your symptoms - they just hear a generalized symptom and throw a bunch of pills at the problem. Is there a way to weed out the doctors that are pill pushers and just get a good one that will actually try to fix things?

I recently found out i have diabetes, but the results did not come in yet to tell which type i am. Right now the doctor makes me get on insulin, which i have been doing for 4 days already, and my blood sugar is reallly good, about 80. I heard the doctors in canada injected some kind of substance in mice who had diabetes and the next day the diabetes were gone. Will this ever be avialable for humans? Also are there any natural medicines that help lower blood sugar instead of insulin, and start to make the pancreas work again?

im 13. and its not cramps from my period- because i havent started. but i have this really bad pain right below my belly button, i get it quite a bit, i cant stand up i= i cant have my stomach straight i cant laugh, it just kills! and thers nothing actually wrong with me, like no doctor or surgery is needed.

ok i got my first period yesterday and when i told my aunt she asked if i want to use one and i said no thanks
and then later when it started picking up then my grandma asked and i said no again cause it wasn't like really a drip yet and i didn't want TSS
so now should i ask my mom to use one (i don't lthink ihave to tho since other people asked me
it's my second day and iwhen i go to the bathroom it drips now and when i wipe it is EVERYWHERE
can i wear one then?

i used to have asthma as a child, until age 6. never had an asthmatic attack. right now i feel totally normal in my daily life.

playing competitive sports, exercise and such are unaffected by asthma during the day. there is no inability to exercise.

but at nighttime, usually before i sleep around 12am, i will suddenly feel asthmatic. it becomes very hard to breath ( shortness of breath).

i would like to know what causes this, and how do i prevent it?

I had my 2nd child May I started walking in June to try to lose weight. I weighed 203 when I had her (gained NO weight during pregnancy - was sick a lot), but when I got home from the hospital, I weighed 180 lbs.
I started walking then got my tubes tied, THEN had to wait to heal from that. Now I'm fully healed. I want to start excercising and eating better. When I was at the hospital, all I would eat is salad (dark green leaves, croutons & 1000-Island). I CRAVED it. I could LIVE off that stuff, but if I did, what kind of meat should I eat to keep my protien up?
Also, what type of excercises should I do other than walking (REMEMBER: I have 2 kids!)?
Is there a stomach excercise I can do while sitting at work or ANYTHING? Will walking a mile 3 times a week help?
And for example, when I get up (how many ever times) at night to feed my 3-month old, I want something to eat to help me stay awake for the feeding. What's something I can eat/drink while still holding her and the bottle?

A little background. I am 31. I have endometriosis, I also have had a tubal 5 years ago. My period was 11 days late then yesterday I started having spotting of bright red thin blood. Not alot just enough to maybe half way fill a pad since then. Not alot of cramping mainly around my belly button when I do have cramps. I have also been having nausea, lightheaded, the smell of things makes me sick, hot sweats, headaches. The only sign of pregnancy that I have not had is sore, tender breasts. No usual symptoms of my period though. I am not sure what all these symptoms could mean. I am trying to wait until my insurance goes into effect until I go to my doctor. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? Thanks in advance!

Occassionally I get a really bad cramp in one of my legs-only the calf-in the middle of the night and I cry sometimes. I thought it may be from dehydration since it used to only happen after a night of drunkeness, but it happened last night and I was completely hydrated.
