NO. This is not healthy, and it is NOT a good way to lose weight. Putting your body into "starvation" mode unbalances it, and makes it overreact when you do eat.
Talk with your doctor to find a more efficient and healthy way to manage weight. You should always consider increasing your exercise regimen before you consider cutting back your food intake. Multiple small meals throughout the day works better than just one meal a day.

Honey, if you're wanting to lose weight, you have to think about what's best for your body. You probably don't need to lose weight, first of all. Even if you did, you didn't gain the weight overnight, so why take such drastic measures to lose the weight? I hate to break it to you, but it sounds like you've got an eating disorder if you're even thinking about starving yourself.
Think of your body as a fireplace. If you just dump some wood into the fireplace once a day, it will burn up very quickly, then die out. You won't have a fire for very long. BUT, if you put small amounts of wood in your fireplace 5 or 6 times a day, your fire will burn constantly and evenly.
SO - eating just once a day will cause you to burn through the food very quickly, then you'll have nothing to sustain yourself for the rest of the day. Your body will develop MANY problems like low blood sugar, which leads to diabetes. You'll also be more likely to have intestinal problems like IBS because your body will start to get used to not eating foods, then when you realize you've made a HUGE mistake, your body will not be able to tolerate a lot of things & you'll feel sick all the time.
Portion control is okay, but you need to eat more often in order to be successful. If not, you'll just gain the weight back, you'll have nasty stretch marks & you'll have accomplished nothing but making yourself sick.
Starving yourself even "semi" starvation as you call it, will only lead to DEATH. Do you really hate your life THAT much?
Take it from someone who knows. I've been eating for 10 years and I still suffer the consequences of my stupidity. You need to talk to a doctor, he'll help you through this.

eating one meal a day will make your metabolism slow to a crawl and you will be very susceptible to illness. the body can not get enough energy and definetly not enough nutrients from one meal only. eating one meal a day will not make you lose weight and will make it harder to control the weight. the human body is designed to consume small meals several times a day as there is no storage capacity of most of the essential nutrients that the body needs. most of the nutrients that the body needs are water soluble, so when you eat the body uses what it needs and excretes the rest. it expects to be feed again in several hours. these are some of the most basic function of human biology.

it relatively is not an extraordinarily sturdy weight loss plan plan. be conscious how there are literally no vegetables on your plan? that's what you're able to be eating the main of. If eating wholesome foodstuff makes you finished, then why no longer consume the main of that?! right here is what a wholesome weight loss plan plan appears like. Breakfast: greek yogurt/cottage cheese/3 egg whites with a million/2 a grapefruit Snack: Carrot sticks and almonds Lunch: "super-salad" with lettuce and spinach, packed with vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, celery, cucumbers, broccoli, tomatoes, etc. additionally, upload some form of protein like cottage cheese, slivered almonds, or egg whites. i like making use of cottage cheese quite of dressing, or you ought to use a NON-creamy dressing like balsamic French dressing. Snack: 2 egg whites and an apple Dinner: Salmon (or another chicken) and steamed vegetables. in case you prefer seconds, have extra of the vegetables, no longer meat, and for wilderness, have a jello cup. they are in basic terms 10 energy!
