A little background. I am 31. I have endometriosis, I also have had a tubal 5 years ago. My period was 11 days late then yesterday I started having spotting of bright red thin blood. Not alot just enough to maybe half way fill a pad since then. Not alot of cramping mainly around my belly button when I do have cramps. I have also been having nausea, lightheaded, the smell of things makes me sick, hot sweats, headaches. The only sign of pregnancy that I have not had is sore, tender breasts. No usual symptoms of my period though. I am not sure what all these symptoms could mean. I am trying to wait until my insurance goes into effect until I go to my doctor. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? Thanks in advance!

Probably not pregnancy, bleeding is almost (except in bad rare cicumstances) contradictory to pregnancy. Early pregnancy symptoms are the exact same as PMS symptoms, so you can't tell from that and it's normal to have an irregular period now and then. Weird bleeding though? Not good. You need to see a doctor! (the reason I won't get a tubal and am getting my husband to get a vastectomy is a fear of tubal pregancy, it's an increased risk when you've got a tubal. Don't know the symptoms beyond weird pains and a weird period, so watch out for that of course)

Since you don't have insurance just yet, what about a free clinic? I admit, I'm not American (Canadian, don't have those insurance worries) but I hear a lot about Planned Parenthood and free clinics, even for women who are not teens.Health insurance is a huge problem in the states yes? Sure, you're 31, but you're still a woman and a human being with female problems. It's best you know! I've been through a very much unwanted pregnancy (and I assume, since you had a tubal, the fear of that may be the same) and it's so much better when you know what's going on and the earlier you know, the more options you have and the better it is for you.

Remember, 1/4 of ALL pregnancies end in miscarriage, so you may be having one. Your bleeding is not enough for the ER, but if your symptoms get worse get to a dr. to check you out for issues like blood pressure, etc. Also, if you may be having another tubal that COULD be trouble. Can you just call the ER, or your OB/GYN, for advice NOW, for free, to find out what's best to do?? I wouldn't want you to go into a crisis situation, suddenly.

Good luck!

How can you be pregnant if you had a tubal? And endometriosis makes it doubly unlikely that you would conceive. Negative HPT, I think you're just ahving a weird period or maybe a touch of a stomach virus. See the dr. ASAP.

You're over-reacting. It's normal, stop stressing because you're making it worse.

isn't it kind of impossible to get pregnant with endometriosis?
