I am 23 years old and I found a quarter sized lump under my left arm. it is painful and now causing pain in my left breasts. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

im really worried about my friend..he told me he got acetaminophen w/ codeine and promethazine and he said he was gonna take them together and i wasnt sure what to say to him...what is would happen if he takes them together? please help!

I am 5 feet 10 and weigh around 175. I'm in alright shape but want to get into better shape. I also want to be a better runner and my best time for a 3.8 mile course was 34:30. Thanks for the input i appreciate it

it'll be two months today that my Mom past away from Ovarian Cancer and the one thing that I have a hard time doing is listening to certain music. Mostly anything that she liked, and of course, music that we played for her while she was in paliative care. I can handle talking about her death, sharing memories of her with family and friends, but I just can't do music.

is there anything for you that you avoid because it's too painful?

I'm a mum of a 3yr boy and 18 month girl... my husband has accepted a new job position which means we have to move from Australia to the US. He will be leaving next month but I can't go until my visa paperwork is done which can take up to 6 months. One minute i'm excited about the move and then the next day I'm crying not knowing how i'm going to cope being by myself with the 2 kids and so I think well if i'm going to be alone for 6 months then maybe i'll just stay here and not move at all... I'm worried about money and not being able to cope... I feel sick and my body feels tired and worn out (i'm only 26) I'm constantly just wanting to eat and i'm wondering if it's got to do with my worrying. I'm snapping at my kids for no reason and I even told my 18 month daughter to go away yesterday... I feel horrible and wish I never had to get out of bed. How can I feel normal again?

I am having some major stomach issues and my pcp is not helping me at all. They did an ultrasound to rule out that it was gallstones now I am left at their mercy. I would like to keep moving forward so I am going to call a gastroentorologist tomorrow and get a new pcp asap due to the bad care I have received from her. Any help would be appreciated! I would like to find a doctor who listens to my concerns and doesn't just try to rush me out the door!

I'm a young male, and I have been getting weird stomach pains in the third day in a row now...let me describe them

About every minute, it feels like my stomach just tightens up almost, or as if someone is punching me in my stomach. The pain is there for about 10 seconds, then goes away and comes back a minute later. This is the third day it's happening. It's about where the ribs start to seperate and the top of the muscles.

I'm only 17 years old, but sometimes I feel like both my childhood and teen years have been robbed from me due to the dysfunction of my family. It's now summer vacation, normal families go on vacation together right? Not mine. All my parents do is fight every day, and i'm stuck at home all day counting down till I can finally go back to school and away from home. Both my parents disgust me, my dad's just completely undescribable and my mom molested my brother who now moved to the states and is a complete stranger to me. My mom's so fake, she pretends she's such a good Muslim and uses religion to cover the mistakes she's made in life. She forces me to wear a scarf and I hate it, I just want to be free to be myself and do the things I want to do. I hate living here, it's a living hell and if I had somewhere to go, I wouldn't live here for one more minute. The verbal and emotional abuse is unberarable, it's traumatizing. I just need support from you guys please, thank you so much. ='(

I just went for my annual pap smear and they called me telling me the results where abnormal. I asked what it meant and the said it could be the HBV virus but that they werent really sure. I am really nervous about it. Does anyone know what kind of sypmtoms i would have if it really was that. When you get an abnormal result for your pap smear does it really mean something seriously wrong? And if it is the HBV virus is there a cure for it? Would I still be able to get pregnant in the future? Should I stop having sex with my b/f and let him know cuz I might pass something on to him? Please if anyone has had abnormal pap smear or knows a little more please give me info on it

I am having left radical orchiectomy (removal of my left testicle) this Friday because of the presence of a, possibly cancerous, mass. My doctor says that I am going to be in pain. Im wondering how much pain im going to be in, anyone who has had this done please reply.

I know this isn't something that happens overnight and can be impossible but...I have a friend who was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago. She was told she had 3 months to live. When she was diagnosed the cancer pretty much had taken over from her stomach to her brain and almost everythign inbetween. She's an amazing person who has been through hell and back. From the beginning, she's kept a journal. Myself and other friends have talked to her about sharing her story and experiences. I know it would be inspirational to others as well. I'm always honored to call her my friend. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thank you.

im 20, and my period was late, but when it did come there was only the tiniest bit of blood and it was gone within the day. what does this mean? does that count as a period? this has happened to me a few times since the start of this year. i did a pregnancy test when it was late coming and it read negative. what's up with my period? please help

for the past of the week in july , i decide it to not sleep at night and than playing on the computer always. i know it not good for me to not sleep. but the thing is i have problem sleeping at night. everytime i try to sleep , it won't work and i sleep only in the evening ,not night and last night i tend to play on the computer beside going to bed and i stay up all night on the computer and for some reason this moring my left side of head was hurting or my brain was hurting and i don't why ? what can i do to stop this habit?
