You should call your psychiatrist or MD immediately.

Try to keep track of your hallucinations in terms of what happened, how long, and how often.

Inform your doctor of the prescriptions you are on and whether or not you are complying with your doctor's orders.

You have a brain chemical imbalance. It's not your fault! It's more common than you might think.

My son, now 15, was hiding the fact that he was hallucinationg (hearing and seeing things) for almost a year. He had depression and bad anxiety. I had no idea, although I could tell he was sad so I took him to a therapist. It didn't help because my son wasn't telling the therapist about the hallcinations or his thoughts about hurting himself by jumping out high windows. Also, he was put on Zoloft, and that made things a zillion times worse for him! Some meds will do that.

Luckily he finally told the school guidance counselor, because he was so scared! I left work and took my son right to the hospital. That was 2 years ago. He is either bipolar or schizo-affective, no one is sure yet. It doesn't really matter, because we have found the right medication so that he NEVER hallucinates any more, and he is enjoying life! We are going sail boating tomorrow. He's at a music concert tonight with friends. He went camping for a week this summer and had a terrific time; when he was hallucinating at camp he said it felt like Hell.

Please, please, please get help! It's the only way you will feel good again.

I have a lot of love and compassion for you, in your present situation. Please reach out to your parents, or to another adult you trust.

In the mean time...keep busy to keep your mind off the hallucinations. The more you move around, dance, exercise, fold wash, do dishes, keep busy, it will help keep the hallucinations away.

Go tell someone TODAY, or as soon as you can. Please don't put it off. Your problem will never, ever go away without medical help.

Absolutely tell your doctor. Do not hold anything back. Hallucinations can be caused by medication. are you taking medication for your problem? My ex-wife was on a pill that made her see people walking in and out of our bedroom plus various types of sounds that scared the hell out of her. The doctor changed her dosage and she cleared up in a few days. I had a friend who had a baby and developed what is known as post partum psychosis. She too saw figures and heard sounds and she wasn't on drugs. A mental condition can cause this type of reaction. TELL YOUR DOCTOR!

You definitely need to tell your doctor. This could be signs of something more serious than just everyday clinical depression. You may need a medication change that will stop the hallucination and voices...

Good Luck

you definitely have schizophrenia. seeing and hearing things are classic signs. some people with bipolar disorder experience these things too. if you dont have the symptoms of biolar disorder than it is schizophrenia. but you can not diagnose your self. ou need to a therapist immediately. schizophrenia causes depression, depression does not cause hallucinations. good luck. and im sorry, but jason is wrong. you say you have been this way for two years and most likely it is schizophrenia.

You should seek mental health treatment ASAP, go to your local ER. You need treatment before it gets worst and you become psychotic, and don't know whats going on.
