Just got back from a haircut and my hair stylist noticed 2 bald spots on the back of my head. I'm freaking out right now cause I'm a 16 year old guy and I don't think I'm suppose to be losing hair. What should I do? Do I need to see a Doctor or something!?!?!? Please tell me.

It is not scars are anything like that. And the bald spots are on the back of my head so I don't think I'm losing my hair. Only my Uncle and Grandfather have hair loss.

No I don't wear a hat. And my Uncle and Grandpa are on my mother's side. My father side is normal. And how am I gonna cover up my bald spots? I have a job so what should I do to cover it up?

Could be alopecia areata. You might want to consult your physician. Just to rule it out.

Those bald spots on your head... well, they are just that, bald spots! Thats why they are called bald spots.
Go see a doc to find out if you have some condition or not that is making your hair fall out. But bear in mind, some people are just genetically predisposed to being bald, if this is the case, all the rogain in the world is not going to make you grow any new hair.
Also, wearing a ball cap alot can make you lose hair, if this is you, STOP! I have a friend who stopped wearing one and his hair grew back.
Are the men on your mothers side of the family bald?

Appendment:
Your inherit your "hair genes" from your mother's side of your family. I suggest you talk with your grandfather and uncle, find out at what age they started to go bald and what they did to deal with it.
You could also talk with a hair stylist, not those clipper jockeys at bo-rics, but a real hair stylist, he or she may be able to give you some insight about how to incorporate these bald spots into your hair style so they are not so noticeable.

Yes, see a doctor, but you probably are going bald - my friend started losing hair at the crown when he was 17 - by 19 he had a hair horseshoe - sorry - you can get implants or wear a rug. if it bothers you.
