There are a lot of different products on the market that combat stretch marks and considering you're only 13 if you start using them now they should fade. Stretch marks will never go away but they will fade.
No offense to your mum but you being 20 pounds over weight has absolutely NOTHING to do with your stretch marks. My partner has always been very thin and he has stretch marks!
Also, being 20 pounds over weight at 13 is not a real problem, you have to remember that it's around this time in a girls life when she's going through puberty and her body is changing. It is a well known fact that around your age girls do put on weight, their hips become bigger, there breasts become larger. It's just a faze of growing up. I can almost guarantee that as you become older in the next few years you will grow into your weight and will no longer be over weight. So try not to let your mum get you down.

Get rid of Stretch Marks?

the red striations you have is from rapid growth, they will fade to white and eventually fade out. Exercise will make no difference but using the cocoa butter, or any moisturizer is a good idea. Watch what you eat, stay away from empty calories and get active. You'll be fine.

Stretch marks happen when you have a growth spurt. As long as they are red DO NOT GET A TAN! The tan could cause them to remain red permanently!

Rub Vitamin E oil into them. Or Mederma.... Over time they will fade to white and not be as noticeable. When white you can tan them...

no. you can maybe help lessen their appearance. being short has little to do with it...really. surgery is pretty much all that will take them away. hey, you could be like me and, after having 2 kids have them all over your stomach.
