Ok, have you heard that if you cut 500 calories a day (3500) a week, you will lose a pound a week? From what I understand it's a well respected and accepted notition.
I am 5'8, weigh 165 lbs. I've read that someone my size should weigh about 150-155 lbs and consume 1900-2000 calories to maintain a natural and healthy sized bodies. I've made it to the 165 lbs by overeating, lets say 2500 calories.
so in order to lose thepound a week, do I need to consume 2000 calories (what i eat - 500 calories) or do i need to consume 1500 (what i eat - 500)?
