VINEGAR, it smells bad but it will take the burn right out! Works for me everytime!
You do not want to cover yourself with a towel or anything that will only keep the heat in.
If you do not have any vinegar Noxema will work as well.

I know a sunburn can be painful. Take the aloe gel and put it in the fridge and get it really cold...it will feel really good when you put it on. Also, there is a product called solarcain that you can buy as a gel or in a spray (it will be in the first aid asile of any drugstore). It has lanicane in it, which will numb the area and give you some relief. Hope you're feeling better soon...

Try cucmber loation. Take a cold shower just before bed. Take a Non asprin pain killer (asprin can cause Ray Syndrom). Place leaves of lettus over the sunburn. A wet towel will work as well but the lettus has vitam B which will help your skin heal.

Best thing I have ever used for a sunburn is taking a lukewarm shower and putting vinegar on my skin and then rinsing it off. Yes it smells, but it takes the burn out. Do not put Vaseline on your skin holds the burn in. Solercain spray will help, but nothing works as well as the vinegar. Keep skin moist with good lotion. This will help with peeling. Good luck

are you using 100% aloe? if not get some put it on and wait 10min then rinse with cool water...do it again till the burning calms down usually only two times...aloe only lets so much out at a time..repeat and you should feel better...but if the aloe has alot of preservatives and vitamin C it wont work...if you have a plant use the inside of the leaf...hope it helps also alot of cool water inside helps too.

Smear calamine lotion over your body. It makes you look funny but it soothes your skin. Drink lots of water too, you are probably dehydrated! Next time, use sun block when you are out in the sun, SPF40+ or even better, cover yourself up. Good luck.

Take some ibuprofen and try draping some cool wet towels on the burn. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water.
