Dear Experts,
Does anything happen if you swallow sperm?
bandit, 11.21.02
The Answer:
Dear bandit,
Not unless it is has a sexually transmitted infection in it. A woman can't get pregnant from swallowing ejaculate — the liquid that carries sperm.
However, keeping ejaculate out of the mouth is one way to make oral sex safer. Unprotected oral sex (without using a condom or other barrier) puts both partners at risk for a number of sexually transmitted infections, whether they are giving or receiving genital stimulation. These infections include gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, hepatitis B, cytomegalovirus, human papilloma virus (HPV), herpes, and, rarely, HIV and chlamydia.
For safer oral sex, use a condom to cover the penis, or a Glyde dam or plastic wrap to cover the vulva or anus.
Hope this information helps!
Take care,

Medically speaking... there is a lot that can happen. Do you know your partner? Have they been tested for HIV? How many partners have they had?
These are all important questions. The old adage- you sleep with everyone your lover has ever slept with is true. If they picked up something they can pass it on to you.
HIV is the big problem. It is passed through bodily fluids. The seminole fluid that carries the sperm would constitute a bodily fluid. Although the sperm would be destroyed by stomach acid it does not make you immune.
Not having done anything like this before I can only give you a medical view.
However, my opinion is to be careful if you are going to be sexually active and use protection.

Besides the obvious answers about STD's and knowing your partner you can have an alergic reaction to the protiens. I used to get an upset stomach and finally went to my allergist and he confirmed I am alergic to some other peoples proteins. Wierd, but true.

Not sure why but my gf says the same thing. She actually talked to her doctor about it, and she told her she was having to many so it made them less extreme when she had one. So we tried to cut back on sex and she quit masturbating altogether and now when she does have one it's way more amazing then ever before or so she says.

From sex-ed classes, someone asked the same question, and I don't remember it to be harmful. You might get infections or you know, the general "diseases". (I hope you didn't swallow it though, since it doesn't sound very good. I hope you are fine)

It has been said that you cannot digest sperm and therefore the female has to get her stomach pumped. Experts may say that the risk of SPD's/HIV/AIDS are low but any risk is major to me.

You can get STDs from oral sex, but other than that, your body just digests the sperm.
