Im 16 and i have almost a full chest of hair is this abnormal none of my friends have hair chests. if so should i shave it or not

Don't shave it!
Everyone's different, be proud of your natural self.
Better to attract girls who like hair then to spend your life shaving to please those that don't.
Unless you yourself prefer hairless...in that case shave it up!

Some people have hairy chests, some don't. Both are normal.
Personally I love guys with hairy chests, and a lot of women do too, or they don't care. Very few hate men like that, and if you do get a long-term partner who doesn't like it, then you can think about removing it. But at 16 there's no point.
You shouldn't shave it, it'll just get bumpy and itchy and stubbly and look and feel yucky. Then grow back really fast. If you really want it off then it'll have to be waxing or something professional. But personally given your age I don't think it's worth it.

If you shave it or use clippers on it get ready for one of the itchiest experiences of your life. I learned this the hard way. Some guys wax. I no longer try to remove all hair from my chest but will sometimes do some "spot trimming" with scissors.
I've used that Veet stuff with pretty good success on my back but it did cause some irritation (bumps), maybe if you get some hydrocortisone cream (Generic CVS) handy to apply afterwards you could try Veet or another depillatory.

The chicks dig it!!! I have chest hiar since the 9th grade and when I would go to the river or any where I would take off my shirt it was on!!! Im 46 and never has been a problem.

No, don't shave. Be proud to be the way you are. Your friends will catch up. Shaving your chest is just nasty unless you're on the swim team.

I love how everyone is saying you shouldn't shave it...
But I bet you still think you should.
Yeah, like no guys have chest hair soph/junior year. If it's like woah...gross...Wax it. Never shave.

well if you shave it it'll grow back even more. many of my highschool friends had chest hair (I'm sure they do now just I haven't seen them since highschool) and it's perfectly normal. Many women like chest hair so I'd let it be....chinese proverb say "bird never make nest in bare tree"

Listen to the guys here who are saying chicks dig it! I've often heard *from women* that they dig hairy chests.
My advice: shave it often so that it will grow back even stronger! Trust me, you'll thank me in a few years time! ;)

what you do is get some hot hot butter, then you poor it all over your chest hair and have your friends lick it off
