I have a severed nerve in my back, (one that is a major nerve to the scapular) caused by the slip of a surgeons knife during a simple biopsy. Has anyone got any suggestions as to 're grow' or 'reattach' the nerve and ease the pain and strain??? And no, I cant sue the hospital!

I am going to the physio again to ease the pain but i want some more ideas...

This happened in 2001.

Does anyone have any information about getting a breast reduction and lift with the internal titanium mesh bra?

I am planning to get a breast reduction and lift after my pregnancy. They were to big before I got pregnant...now I am a 36FF. So they will eaither stay this size after the baby (WAY TO BIG) or they will be super saggy. Either way, NOT a good look.

Looking for information about this proceedure and which doctor do this.

med plus regular Asperin.. And Ice and alittle heat mussle rub etc,per Day and only get maybe 2 hrs of mild relief! This is the first time on pc in a month..Does the surgery help ? I,ve heard some say yes/no /only for a few months.I heard they can do a new sergery where they go in thru the back or near backbone cutting nerve or something and has seem to be longer lasting.Does anyone know of this? Or ANYTHING that will stop this unbareable Pain????

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but I want to know if it's possible to 'develop' this condition at an point in life. Like if I had my EKG and echo 2 years ago and it's fine, can my doctor find I have this condition 2 years later? Or can I just get it at any point? I looked at sites like wikipedia and it just talks about what it is, the diagnosis... but I'm wondering if anyone can get it at any time? Thank you.

My husband, a wonderful loving husband and father, has a serious panick disorder. He has been unable to function for the past 5 to 6 months. He can't get out to get a job, he can't even go get his drivers licence renewed. He wants to do these things and he has tried but when t comes down to it he panics and just can't. He is riddled with guilt and depression. I am in fear of becoming homeless as I can't pay the bills on my pay alone. We do not have medical insurance and I can't get him out of the house to get treatment. If I push him too hard he becomes reclusive and tells me to just leave him, he doesn't want that he just speaks out of guilt. I am worried for his mental health and the wellbeing of our family. I just don't know what to do.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Note: I'm not going to leave him or threaten to leave and he cannot be hospitalised due to his panic disorder.

Okay so I went to a urologist and he found a varicocele. He said if I want to have an operation, then I can, but the only problem is that it may cause infertility.

I doesen't create a very great discomfort right now, and I've chosen that if I ever feel that it's gotten worse or if I discover it's affecting my fertility, I will have the operation.

For now, does anyone know any tips to manage it? I usually feel a sort of heaviness or slight ache in the afternoon. I'm going to try to remedy the problem with homeopathy (i know, i know, it's a pseudoscience but it's cured lots of stuff for me and for other people I know).

So any tips to manage this varicocele?

I guess that he was in a motorcycle accident and had to have his foot amputated. I am in a complete state of shock. All I can think about is what he is going through, what it is like, and how hard the rest of his life is going to be. What should I do? What should I send to him? When the person is alone, they blurt out stuff like "I'm in love" or "i'm pregnant" that came out of nowhere not even triggered by a thought and after they say it they are irritated that they said something that is false, and wonders why they blurt out stuff that's not true when nobody's around?

Okay.. so I started a new birth control 3 months ago (Loestrin 24 FE) and ever since I started it, I have had a lot of breakthrough bleeding and too many spotting days. Recently.. like in the past 4 days.. (One week prior to expected period date) I am having a weird discharge. In the beginning it was khaki brown & spots of black.. sometimes in clumps.. Now this morning I woke up and it was like a huge amount of jet black liquid.. No blood.. not that I can see.. Should I be worried? Does anyone have a clue of what this mysterious black liquid is? I mean I pretty much know breakthrough/spotting but this feels completely different.

I read a report on this site from quoting A study by UK NICE
indicating that persons taking atenolol for hypertension should stop immediately. My cardiologist says that is a lot of bull.
I have been on atenolol for many years with very good resuslt in controlling rapid heart rate. Anyone else have more info?

When I walk down on my foot I feel a sharp pain go up my leg almost to my knee cap. I do not have bruising or swelling just a lot of veins popping out of my foot (which is not normal for me). Someone told me it could be a pinched nerve, but I did not do anything to my leg. I have no insurance and was curious what I should do.

It has been going on for 4 days now.
