When I walk down on my foot I feel a sharp pain go up my leg almost to my knee cap. I do not have bruising or swelling just a lot of veins popping out of my foot (which is not normal for me). Someone told me it could be a pinched nerve, but I did not do anything to my leg. I have no insurance and was curious what I should do.

It has been going on for 4 days now.

Thanks!

it does sound like it could easily be a blood clot, this can be life threatening. Most county hospitals will treat you regardless of your ability to pay because they are state supported, find the one closest to you and be seen.

sounds like a heel spur, which is basially an abnormal growth of the heel bone. they are fairly common. does the pain get worse if you sit for a while and then try to walk again? or lessen after youve been on your feet awhile? i guess its possible its related to having diabetes, but really other symptoms of diabetes would have affected you first before foot pain

Ask if there is a way to get in touch with former students who have completed the program. I would be interested to find out what kind of jobs they have and if they thought the program prepared them for the job opportunities.
