I wouldn't stop taking your Lexapro ever, unless the Dr ordered it. I'm on It and It can give you nasty withdraw symptoms. You can drink on it, just use caution. It tends to get you drunk faster. I drink on it all the time. I am fine. Been taking it for 15 years. I don't want to condone it, but I'm living proof that it will be fine.

I don't pretend to be a health care provider, but doesn't sound like a good idea.

"Patients should be told that, although Lexapro has not been shown in experiments with normal subjects to increase the mental and motor skill impairments caused by alcohol, the concomitant use of Lexapro and alcohol in depressed patients is not advised."

no, lexapro, like any other antidepressant, builds up a level in your body, skipping one day doesn't make it ok to go out and get drunk. One glass of wine will not harm you, but if you are smart, you will limit yourself to just that, and no more. If you cannot control yourself, then don't drink at all.
