Depends on how far you have the AC cranked up. Some are inverted, most are in the 1/4 to 1/2 inch range and some are actually over an inch. Every woman is different.

all different lengths, some are actually inverted and go backwards into the breast, and some stick out a good inch.
On average I'd say they are about 3/8 of an inch

That's a weird question, but I guess between being inverted, flat and the most protruding I've seen I guess has been about 1/2 inch.
