I want to know where to register the business and where to get referrals. I will also like to know where to get financing.

Are you a licensed therapist in your State?
Referrals usually come from M.Ds who believe a patient can benefit from talk therapy. Other referrals come from mental health counselors who have a overflow or who simply cannot help the patients and believe you can.
You register your business through the state. Go to the website for your state and look for the link to more information about registering your business.

a good place to start would be your local better business bureau, the bbb is there to help new businesses start, look them up in your phone book.
