she is 18 months never had chicken pox and i have but if i came into contact with her could i still carry it and pass it on to her

There is no minimum age for catching chicken pox. If you are infected, yes, you could pass it on. But merely being exposed doesn't make you a danger. If you don't have any spots, you're not contagious. But this shouldn't be your biggest concern. Chicken pox is no fun, but in most cases, children get over it quickly. It can be very dangerous for adults, however. If you are showing signs, see your doctor immediately.

If you've had it recently, and she was around, then sure you could pass it on to her. If you had it a long time ago...then no, you can't carry the virus forever and spread it around.
