My hand is swollen like if I got stung by a bee. Its weird At first it was just my thumb now my whole palm is starting to swell up, i dont know what the hell it is. Last week It was itching and it started to hurt It even started to look blue. Its been swollen for about an hour. What could it be??

Last week I slept with the window open and I am having a cold now. Though I asked the same question here but couldn't get to the point. I have been having cold for three days and my vaginal discharge is bloody for two days. It is not a period. My period vas over 2 weeks ago. Is it connected to the cold? Is there anyone who experienced such a thing?

Well, I really have no problems staying asleep, but I do have problems going to sleep at the same time every night.

I can go to sleep one night at 9:00 pm and the next night I could fall to sleep at 3:00 am and not be able to go back to sleep at 9:00 pm.I want to be able to go to sleep at the same time every night.I know it's possible because I did it everyday while in public school.Now I am in Private school so I don't need to worry about that stuff, but it still makes me miss a lot of sunlight.Any tips on this one?

I have had dreams like this a few times, where my teeth all fall out, I read a few other questions where the teeth crumble and fall out, but mine don't crumble.. just get loose and fall out.. I have heard it can mean death, change, etc.. anyone else have them, and what do you think they mean?

for the past 4 or 5 days i have taken the pill at complete different times. i have three left in the packet, i want to stop this packet now but i have an important event on the 9th and the 10th and i dont want to be on my period. so if i stoped it now would the pill stil be effective if i started taking it again on the 5th day instead of the 8th n order for me to not be on my period on the 9th? (i hope that makes sense:) )

Last monday night I slept with the widow open just to have a cool night's sleep. The following morning i had a headache and i wasn't feeling well. On wednesday my nose started running and i am sneezing alot. These are normal , it seems I really had a bad cough but what I dont understand is that my daily flow is bloody. I am not entirely fond of eating tons of fruits and veggies and I don't like to cook. When you go on diets, they tell you to make these extravagant meals, which I wouldn't be able to make. It is also expensive to buy food, and I usually throw a lot of it away because I don't cook it. What can I do? I want to lose weight and eat healthier.

I have a persistent fever that won't go down with medicine. I work nights so when I got off work Friday morning I felt chilly so I took my temperature, 101 degrees, I had a sore throat all night at work but didn't think anything of it. I took some ibuprofen and went to sleep. When I woke up the fever was gone and I was drenched with sweat, so I know it got to the breaking point. I didn't have a fever from when I woke up at five until about 9 30. It was 99.5 I took some tylenol this time and waited a few hours, took a cool bath and took it again about 1230, it was 100.8 again, I took some ibuprofen and checked it about 230 and it was 101 degrees. Any advice on what I should do without have to go to the doctor (last resort).

I am 18 and have to go to the doctor next week for my first smear test.

I am embarassed about having to spread my legs in front of the doctor cos he will be able to see everything.

I have quite a bit of hair down there, will this get in the way and should I shave it?

I know they stick something up inside you to open you up, how big is this and how does it work (how far are you opened)?

Also, will the doctor be able to tell if I have had sex that day?

I would like to know if there is a specific length of time someone should wait after having unprotected sex before they are tested for HIV. Is 6 or so months a good amount of time? How long can it be until the disease surfaces? Can it takes years, or would someone know they have it by then?

about six months ago, my 14 year old cousin died in his sleep and the doctors could not figure out what happned so they said it way a sudden arrhythmia death syndrome. Since the disease can be inhereted through DNA, i went to the emergency as soon as my heart was beating fast. The did an ECG and said everthing was normal. The also tested my cousin's younger siblings and found no signs. Now, i am having a hard time breating at night and my heart is beating VERY fast. Everytime i try to sleep, i wake up thinking that i am having a cardiac arrest. I am mostly scared because the sudden death often happens to teenagers and i am 15 year old. I am scared to death but my parents do not take me seriously and the doctors don't eitehr! what are my chances of inhereting the disease from my cousin?
