If BP is truly at critical levels, medications are pretty much the gold standard for prevention of stroke or heart attack.

One suggestion, though, since diet and exercise don't seem to be an issue here: Have the kidneys checked.

A common cause of high blood pressure is poor blood flow to the kidneys. The kidneys then secrete a hormone to increase blood pressure, thus providing them with more blood. ACE inhibitors help to reverse this trend, and without some of the more unpleasant side effects you mentioned.

There are also a variety of hormonal imbalances that could cause this condition, so an endocrinologist might be beneficial.

The most important thing to remember is this: without treatment, hypertension undeniably leads to complications. The medication should be tried, even if it is considered a short term fix while seeking a more agreeable answer.

not sure what you mean high blood pressure of 8? that is not a number used for blood pressure measuring. anything over 140/90 would be concidered high. if you are doing all the right things, diet exercise, stress management, no smoking then meds might be needed. i would not put it off to long to get it under control. the longer it is high the more damage it is doing to your cardio vascular system.

if your BP is at critical levels, take the medicine now....before you have a stroke, heart attack, head bleed or do irreversible kidney damage! congrats on taking good care of yourself, but just because you have made good choices thus far doesn't change the fact that now your BP is dangerously high and you must do something now and rather quickly...work with your MD, do all those natural remedies/advice after or start during the time your MD is using meds to lower that BP, then maybe the MD can lower or eliminate your need for the meds all together...yes there can be risks/side effects to any meds, but the bigger risk of not taking them is death....

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

No...God expects you to do your part. A change in diet and exercise could possibly keep you off the meds but no change in life style and no meds is a recipe for problems.

There are ways to lower without meds- reduce the salt in your diet, lose wt, exercise, and reduce stress. Other than that you may have to go on meds.

Male sexual arousal is a complex process that involves the brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, muscles and blood vessels. To solve the erectile dysfunction i suggest to check this natural method https://tr.im/EGtO6 .
Erectile dysfunction can result from a problem with any of these. Likewise, stress and mental health problems can cause or worsen erectile dysfunction. Sometimes a combination of physical and psychological issues causes erectile dysfunction. For instance, a minor physical problem that slows your sexual response may cause anxiety about maintaining an erection. The resulting anxiety can lead to or worsen erectile dysfunction.
