for the past 4 or 5 days i have taken the pill at complete different times. i have three left in the packet, i want to stop this packet now but i have an important event on the 9th and the 10th and i dont want to be on my period. so if i stoped it now would the pill stil be effective if i started taking it again on the 5th day instead of the 8th n order for me to not be on my period on the 9th? (i hope that makes sense:) )

No, the pill would not still be effective in that instance.

You could do this but you might still get your period on those days.
Then it'll be a pain in the butt to get your cycle back on track with the pills. You could breakthrough bleed who knows when.
