That depends on what is causing the swelling. If it's from an injury, then ice would be the answer. If it's from excess fluid, then elevating the swollen part will help, but it won't be fast.

If you are referring to your arm or leg, sit down on the couch and elevate it on a few pillows.You can also apply warm moist compresses,such as a warm wet towel,then loosely cover the towel with another-just to keep the warmth in.If the injury is very recent,apply an ice pack and elevate.

Cut into the swelling and make it bleed, or put a leech on top of it.
Ok, so neither one of those is very pleasant, but they are the quickest.
If you want to be a little less out there, use ice on the area and take something like tylenol.

it depends what the swelling is from if it is from an allergy or bug bite cortizone or benadryl something like that or if it is from a hit or bruise ice I would say...good luck

Ice or a cold pack. An anti inflammatory such as ibuprofen can also help.
