Somebody who is in an accident, say a car accident, and is paralyzed from the waist down... how long on average, are you likely to be in the hospital? Does anybody know of a website where I can get more information on this kind of paralysis, how they can get around, what they need assistance with, medical attention, etc.?

I'm thinking of getting plastic surgery but I'm not sure because
1. I was thinking breast lift because I was a ddd before baby & nursing & such, and now...well you can guess the current state of things. I do want to be able to fit into a normal size bra, and comfortably nurse another baby if I have one.So in this case, would a lift still be considered cosmetic surgery?
2. She really gave me some pretty good ones in the stretch mark department, but I had a whoole bunch of weight to lose anyway, so after I lose all this(& yes I've already started to),
1.what's the likelihood(I'm 21, probably 22 by the time the weight's gone) my skin will stay all stretched out, and if it does
2. would state insurance probably cover skin removal
3. what's the likelihood they can get rid of the stretch
marks with it(they're vertical up & down the sides)
4. If state insurance doesnt pay for this, how much can I
expect to pay out of pocket in

Hey, this if mostly for moms, Becuase I am one, but anyone is welcome! I have contact a bunch of people on here that are seriously wanting to do what it takes to be fit by summer time! (I'm one of them!). So I thought about starting like an online "gym". I used this program (costs like $40 for 3? dvds) I swear by this workout. I lost 25lb in 5 weeks...after having twins. No joke! Anyway, I know the product is worth your money. So we all decided everyone go buy the product, and we all start on May 21 (mon). We can email or Im eachother that we are actually starting the dvd up. It's a tough workout, but only about 30 min long. If we get a bunch of people in it, we will all stay motivated and look great for July 4! Email me at my personal email so I can have your name in my folder and email you when we get started, etc! So far we have 6 people "signed" up.
Lets BURN this fat, and be FIT this summer! (finally!)

My body normally doesn't react well to meds & they always cause some sort of a reaction. I'm supersensitive even to things like decongestants & antibiotics. Finally a potential diagnosis to my crazy symptoms I've suffered from for so long, the last thing I want to do is go through any more med roller coasters. So, please! Any help you can provide would be wonderful.

Every few days a week, I have these crashes in the early afternoon. I eat breakfast every day, but around lunch time, I get fatigued, irritable and weak, sometimes dizzy. I eat, and then I feel better. (I eat soup or a hardy, healthy lunch and feel better.) Could this be diabetes, or just my diet? I used to eat a lot of sugar, and recently I've cut down a bit, could this be the cause?

If I try to exercise, but I only end up getting in about 10-20 min a day and thats only like 3-4 days a week.
So will eating like this help me lose weight?

Breakfast- 1 apple or small yogurt
Snack- Quaker rice cake
Lunch- Salad consisting of lettuce, cucumber, red wine vinegar and 1/4 cup of cheese or diced grilled chicken
Snack- Apple
Snack- Quaker rice cake
Dinner- 1 cup of whole grain pasta or rice (Sometimes a chicken breast too)

I've been doing this for two days, and I know it hasn't been long at all but I already feel thinner. Do you think it will work?

Basically i'm sedentary all day long and I'm only 5ft tall so I don't think I need much calories anyway.

Lately more often than not when I leave the gym I get these weird cramps in my toes. I don't believe this is dehydration because I drink tons of water all day before the gym and then about 2 bottles at the gym. Could it be my shoes? - I just got new ones though.

Anyone have any clue on what this could be from or how to stop it?

A little while ago I was having moderate sharp pains in my colon. They seemed to come and go and weren't accompanied by gas or nausea. Going to the bathroom got rid of the sharp pains. But it still feels a little sore. There wasn't any blood that I could see. I've had this problem before. It seems to come and go without any warning. I'm only 18. I'm far to young to have anything serious. So what could be my problem?

My daughter was six months old when they found excess water in her brain and still the same at 1 year. She developed slow but no one could find a cause. In kindergarten after fighting family, school and doctors, we were referred to a neurologist and he diagnosed epilepsy. Absent seizures up to 50 a day. He said it did not cause her developmental delay, speech problems, or learning disabilities. She is now 8 years old and over the last couple of years things have gotten worse. She has become very violent and has begun to hurt herself and others. I fear the safety of my other three children. She has been treated for bipolar disorder for the last year with Abilify and her dose increased from 5mg to 20 mg in two months with no noticable improvement. She is now on another mood stabilizer and no improvement if not worse. Yesterday she threw in choking herself. The problem is no one believes me not the school or the doctors. My family have became supportive over the past year.
