Health - 9 April 2007

Hi, my gums are dying and near one of my teeth there is very little gum and the tooth may fall out and i am only 14. It is my last tooth.

Does anyone know what i can do to keep it healthy and help it grow a bit more.

It doesent sound possible but I may as well ask.

when me n' my bf have sex and he's going fast, why does it feel like he's "bottoming out?" that is the best way to explain it, like he's not inside the vagina anymore but further back....how can i stop this from happening, it's not painful just awkward he has to keep stopping....he about 7 and a half inch erect...

I've been on the pill for about a year now and at first it was great. It reduced my cramps and that was a big problem for me when i was younger. I have tried the patch after i had my son but it gave me a rash and the edges didn't stick very well. But about 6 months ago i went to the doctor for my annual and they told me i had a yeast infection. I didnt have any side effects so i wasn't aware. I took the one dose pill and got rid of it but ever since i've gotten a yeast infection about every 2 months (with side effects...it's horrible) and i can't take it anymore. It just dawned on me that it was the pill and my doctor gave me some with a lower dose but yet again i have a yeast infection!!! Obviously it's the hormones so i don't think the ring will be good for me either. People have recommended the IUD but i've heard a lot of horror stories. My husband can't use condoms (he's larger than most men and there uncomfortable) and i dont want to mess with sponges or female condoms. Help!!!

I just got my braces off and the orthodontist didnt really get all the glue off so how can i get it off? Also, theres a lot of white stuff on my teeth and i cant seem to get that off. Besides bleaching my teeth, what kind of teeth whitening methods or teeth whitening products do you guys/gals recommend? THANKS!

Is technology ruining childhoods today? I think they are. My parents and grandparents tell me stories of going out after breakfast and coming back for supper. They had great memories in the neighborhood with the kids. Technology today keeps kids inside playing video games. I am not saying all kids, just some. Anybody have any input?

I have mild gastritis and recently it has been acting up. I take medicine on a daily basis but would like to improve my diet rather than continually taking medicine.

I have read that one cure for excess stomach acid is drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. However, on other websites I have read that vinegar is to be avoided (which seems to be common sense) because it is acidic.

Which is it? Is vinegar a cure or will it drill a hole in my stomach???

My problem is I have had a very weak immune system growing up and It's so easy for me 2 get sick. I have a hard time in the winter months. Since I graduated high school a year ago I've only had 2 colds which is great. That's because I haven't been out as much. Now thatI plan on working and going 2 school I know I will be around tons of people and germs. I don't want this 2 effect me working. I know everyone on here may not be a doctor but can anyone give me any advise on how 2 make my immune system stronger.

Ok in the first stages of the drug coming out I was put on it, while on it I did some crazy things..Ran around the house thinking the walls were talking to me..Got up in the middle of the night and would eat, call people, get online and talk and would not remember doing it..I one night fell out of bed and laughed so hard cause I fell out of bed that I woke my husband.. drove my car to the gas station in my underwear and long tshirt (good thing they were closed) on the way home wrecked in my own yard...(dont remember much of that night)...I felt like I was going to get sick one night when I woke up,and my husband found me in the kitchen on the floor eating bread out of the bag, and I had mixed Tequilla (sp) and milk and was drinking it..The last thing is I would go to fall asleep some nights and my husband would have to hold me down cause I believed the bed was tring to eat me...he did make me stop taking them (he didnt want to babysit all night) I do have problems sleeping tho

This involves the hand/wrist area where an IV was inserted . Should you have pain moving up the arm,swelling, soreness and tenderness all of which seem to be getting worse; and a lump or knot under the skin around the IV site? It's been a week since surgery. I'm concerned. Please all of you knowledgable people out there do you have any idea of what this is and what can be done about it? Please help!

She is experiencing numb hands,feet(feet feel cold), mouth- and her left breast hurts (she had surgery too remove cancer from left breast a month and a half ago) , also she feels light headed....is this normal for someone who just went through they're second round of chemo?

I've taken tylenol and rinsed with salt water. Could it maybe be my gums, it started hurting yesterday before that I had no sensitivity to hot or cold.

Diagnosed with BPD and BP II -- suffer from comorbid self injury (cutting) as well as eating disorders. Been treated in therapy for over 8 months. I've spent time in a psych ward, and had the full work up, getting in touch with board members. The question, is this: recovery. I know that there is no such thing for BPD, so for that, more like up-keeping normality. As those with it are, I am very impatient and impulsive. I've contemplated suicide on and off (before hospitalization, and now after). I'm doing all the outpatient work, but I'm falling down and find it slightly scary. The self injury has been getting worse in damage, (frequency the same).. and really, don't feel like living (though no plans have been made; just a continual feeling).

What are some options of recovery I haven't checked into? How can I get this under control? I feel ridiculous about going to the ER, because there is really nothing life threatening. I just don't know what step to take; i'm clawing each day
