No. It can help lighten acne scars, though.

It won't stop you from getting acne, but it will dry existing pimples. Unfortunately, if you use it all over your face it will dry up your whole face, but you'll still break out. I'm 40 and I still break out, but this regimen I learned from a doctor is almost 100% effective. You have to be diligent and do it every night. If I do break out, it's because I got lazy with it.

1. Wash your face at night with a cleanser with salicylic acid in it. I use Neutrogena Face Wash that comes in a pump bottle.

2. After washing, use a glycolic acid cream on your face. I use AlphaHydrox 12%. The packaging is red.

3. Apply a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream on your face after that. I use Clearasil.

In the daytime I don't use anything, but I'm a girl so I wear makeup. But anyway, this regimen is unbelievably effective. My skin is so oily that I can do this every day without getting irritated or dry, but if your skin can't handle everyday, then use the glycolic acid on one day and the Clearasil on the next day and rotate that way. All of the products I named are sold at the drugstores. Good luck.

if your skin is sensitive better not apply lemon juice directly on your skin because lemon juice contains citric acid which can irritate the skin..I would suggest you to mix equal amount of rose water in the lemon juice before applying it..rose water has astringent properties too so you can use it to reduce oil and acne too

i dont think so but if you have acne(or don't) what i suggest is wash your face with a face cleansing soap and scub your face softly with a wet towel. it takes the dirt away and helps prevent or clear away acne and or pimples.
