I would love to hear from someone who has cystic fibrosis or has a close family member who has CF. For my report I need to know about your experiences with the disorder and how it affected you and your lifestyle. My teacher calls it a "case study". Any information would be extremely helpful! Thank You!

Although I am not currently experiencing an outbreak...i have gential herpes and recently when I had sex, my partner performed orally on me multiple times.

If i'm not having an outbreak (and haven't had one in a while), have I still put him at risk (there was quite a bit of sexual fluid involved)

I lived in connecticut all my life, My daughter who is almost 3 has also lived there all her life. Since moving out here both of us have been "sick", coughing, nasal dripping(sorry about being gross). It seems like allergies but neither of us have allergies. Could it be the move? Could we have developed allergies? When I took us to the doctors they said it will pass and not to worry about it.

Last night I slipped and fell, but I felt fine. When I woke up this morning, I was in a lot of pain and it hurt to walk. I took some Tylenol. Later at school (around 12:30) I put ice on my knee until 2:15. Now (3:30) it still really hurts. My mom put an Ace bandage on and I took some ibuprofen. I don't think it's swelling, but it still hurts a lot.

I'm going to Quebec this weekend and will be doing a lot of walking around, so I'm afraid that will make it worse.

Should I go to the hopsital or just not worry about it?

Thanks!

Doesn't anyone ever feel uncomfortable when the doctor checks your cervix? I mean, spreading your legs for your doctor to see your private part is very uncomfortable. I know it's for health reasons and they have to do it though, but what is your opinion?

My doctor diagnosed me with mild depression about two years ago. Im not suicidal, and I dont hurt myself, except for when I take the medicine he prescribed. It actually made me feel worse. So I was wondering if saint johns wort would be a safe alternative to antidpressants. I quit taking the zoloft, and statred on the herb. I feel better, but is this a good idea. Any feedback would help. Thanks.

I just had an MRI performed on my lower back and it showed (what I expected) a pinched nerve, degeneration of two discs, etc. But then it also showed a loss of curvature due to persistent muscle tightness. Does anyone know what that is, and what it means exactly? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I went to the optometrist (eye dr that cannot do surgery or prescribe internal meds) today due to my eye being tender and kind of swollen and a bit itchy and she confirmed that it is a stye. She prescribed antibiotic eye drops and told me to (gently) put a warm compress on my lid 3x a day and that I should notice a marked difference within 10 days or so. Has anyone ever had a stye, and was your treatment both similar and effective? Thanks!

I have a lot of problems sleeping. I don't know what is wrong, but my sholders are always uncomfortable. I just bought myself a $100 memory foam matress topper and it doesn't even help that much! Am I sleeping the wrong way or something? Every night I just toss and turn without any sleep. I can't afford another mattress, or another mattress topper. So it must be some kind of sleep disorder, maybe? And also, no matter what time I go to bed, I wake up at the same time. I could fall asleep at 2 am and wake up at 7 in the morning as usual. On the weekends. RAWR!!!! I NEED HELP!!!!!

At the beginning of spring I usually have a cold/cough/throat ache/itchy eyes from the pollen. But maybe it won't be so bad this time cuz I've been eating oranges everyday? Is it a bad idea to stay outside when the weather is nice but the pollen count is really high? Is ther anyway to prevent/control allergies? Thanks.

I am a 23 yo female in good health. I eat well, and don't eat particulary spicy foods or anything that would typically give heartburn. I have had a metallic taste in my mouth since last Wednesday (9 days ago) and for the past 3 days have had little bouts of heartburn/indigestion even when eating things like PB&J sandwiches and fruit.

What could be causing the metallic taste/heartburn/indigestion?

I just had two kids back to back... and I need to loose the baby weight, the problem is I can't motivate myself to do it!

I try doing workout DVDs...but I got bored with them after a few weeks because I wasn't seeing any results.
But I am a single mom, so I can't afford to get a gym membership, and I can't leave the house without my kids.
So how can I motivate myself to GET UP and WORK OUT?!?
