I have a very small sore on my bottom lip. I know it is not a cold sore because I have had them before and this isn't it. It is very small and kind of reminds me of a tiny pimple. It is in the middle of my lip and hurts A LOT. Anyone have any idea what this is? thanks...

Diabetes runs in my family and my 14 month old son was admitted to hospital with a nasty infection 6 weeks ago since we got home 5 weeks ago he is showing signs of diabetes his water intake has gone from 4oz a day to over a pint plus milk he has very dry skin and he is never full up and crys when he sees someone else eating because hes hungry (he eats very healthily) although he is not gaining weight i took him back to my dr today who refused to test him he said in a child this age(14 months) if it was diabetes he would be extremely ill to the point of being rushed to hospital I would appreciate your opinions on this as i know too well how dangerous this can be untreated

I have a patch of grey hair on one side of my head. I don't know what caused it, or if it is common in a woman my age.
It happened about 5 months ago, right after a traumatizing event in my life. I'm not sure if stress is related to that. Does anyone know?

Hi, I started synthroid 25mg about 2 weeks ago and the first week I had alot of energy, but this week I feel very tired and the first week as well I lost 6 pounds this week only 1 pound and I feel very exahusted, do you think the doc needs to up my dosage? Or is something wrong? I also am having symptoms I am going to get my period wich is weird cause Im soooo irregular, and thats normal for me. Should I call my doctor or are these normal reactions to the medication?

I got really burned today on my body and face after suntanning in the sun I have been suntanning for three days now and I still am getting burned. I put lotion on. I really need to get tan by tuesday, so should I just stay out of the sun until then or can I still suntan with lotion and eventually I will start to get tan? I have aloe vera burn relief spray that I use to keep my skin moist, but should I be using regular lotion instead? I'm fair skin, and I have brown hair. What should I do to make sure I have a tan by tuesday?

I drink about 1.5-2 gals of water a day, because I work outside. However I seem to always feel thirsty, and when I drink Gatorade I feel find and healthy. However Gatorade has too much sugar, drinking whenever thirsty, becomes too much for my system and that causes me to be dehydrated again. Thank you for your responses <3 God Bless.

i have been grinding my teeth and biting my tongue in my sleep. any advice? i don't think i could wear one of those night guard mouth peice things. my husband wakes me up when i am grinding my teeth. my tongue gets pretty sore as well.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant .. and did the 1 hour gestational diabetes test 2 days ago. My doctor called today and said my level was 158 and needs to be below 140 and I have to go in next week (after 3 days of a special diet) and re-test doing a 3 hour glucose test.
Is 158 considered really high??
Has anyone else ever experienced this??
Is there a chance if I watch my carb and sugar intake and exercise more it will clear up??
Will it cause harm to my baby??

I have been tested and probed and run through the mill can anyone help me. I tested positive to HLA-B27 and my arthritis doctor said i had ankylosing spondylitis and put me on medication for this. I have had iritis 3 times in my eyes and now have a small glaucoma forming due to this. I have days were i can hardly stand let alone walk. I have gianed weight due to not being able to do normal things. My insurance changed about 1 month ago and had to go to piittsburgh due to my doctor does not take my insurance. the guy in pitt said i have fibromyalgia, spondylitis arthritis, osteoporsis, and IBS. Which one is right I have searched the internet on both and some things fit with one and not the other and vice versa. The doctor down in pitt can not explain my iritis which is not a symptom of fibromyalgia. I can not work due to me not knowing what days are good and what are bad I have filed for disability but have had to appeal because of my age--36. can anyone help me figure this out

ok.. it is a necklace that you were around your neck and if you fall or something happens and you are unable to get to a phone to call for help all you have to do is just push a button and i think that an ambulance comes or something.. but i am not sure what happens when you push the button.. anyways.. i am wondering what they are called and if anyone out there know how i might go about getting one for someone???
