See, it seems almost every day where there's an hour or two where anger/ litterally rage, builds up. Then, I start to throw stuff and break things that I really didn't want to break. I cry, shout, and luckily no body hears me because I do it alone, but what do I do?

You may have heard this, but try taking a few deep breaths and sit down. Listen to some really calming music. I would suggest Enya - Only time, Wild Child, or Flora's Secret. The melody is very relaxing.

Take anger management, and/or read "Anger Control Workbook" by McKay & Rogers. Otherwise, exercise. Whenever things build up like that try going for a walk or a quick run. Deep breathing may help, and I can't say for sure but therapy may be something to look into. But the above workbook does give good ideas.

There are a lot of things that you can do to vent your anger in a non-harmful way.

Don't throw away old clothes or sheets. Keep them around, and when you get angry, you can tear them up.

Go to Goodwill and buy old glasses and dishes. Put some of them inside a thick trashbag (like a yard bag). When you get mad and want to smash things, throw the stuff that's wrapped up in the bag. You get the satisfaction of smashing things, but you don't destroy anything you really like, and glass doesn't go everywhere.

YOu don't provide your age, so I will speak to you as if you are a child to protect myself. I apologize in advance, so don't take offense.

See a psychiatrist to begin testing to determine if it is something chemical or physical and ruling out the various things that could affect your mood. You should do this because this behaviour can escalate where you want to do damage to someone else or to yourself. Please don't feel ashamed because if it is mental illness, you can do better with drugs and/or psychotherapy. Seeking help is a very positive step and I encourage you to do that.

My Husband had the same problem. I think it's because He gets a lot on his mind and it's like a carousel inside there and he can't focus on any specific issue enough to resolve anything. Fortunately, I have a calming influence on him, but He's gotten a lot better since he's become a Christian.

Why are you angry? People do not do things without a reason although mood fluctuations can have organic causes, including some forms of illness but is this because you are angry and frustrated about something or not?

anger management, as other answers have said. try to set goals for therapy, or even self help. start recording your feelings, as it is important to determine the cause of your anger. is it an over-reaction to external forces? or is it just from within you with no apparent cause? recording your anger episodes will help you help you, or a mental health professional help you by pin pointing if it's a mood disorder or an anger management problem.

You need some type of anger management therapy. And you need to find out what it is that makes you so angry. Do it now before you hurt yourself or someone close to you.

Get help, that's what you do. You need to go see a therapist/counselor. Maybe some medication with it.
