Try bean soup instead. It's filling, contains protein as well as complex sugars for energy. Plus, as your body breaks down those sugars it creates methane gas in the bowel, resulting in farting. This can especially helpful in competitive racing. The foul smell of farts ensures that the other runners stay very far behind you. Also, particularly strong farts can actually propel you along to some extent. It's like a free ride on your own natural "rocket engine." Boston Marathon winner Svetlana Zakharova can attest to this. "Thank goodness I had a plate full of cauliflower this morning for breakfast," she stated following her 2003 victory. "I could feel the gas working its way out of my colon during the last mile and as I farted, it was just enough to push me over the finish line."

Propel can be good. I'd slowly wean myself onto water. You drank gravy? wow, that's different. Did you have any health situations due to this?

My dad would freeze fruit juice, especially lemon juice, as ice cubes and put the cubes in his water. Try carbonated water to give it some fizz.
