What is the medical term for getting your esophagus strecthed and what exactly do they do, my husband is having it done tomorrow, and we were curious about recovery time. Could someone at least give me the medical term for esophagus streaching, so I can do some research?

This happens especially in the morning. There really is no problem in the middle of the day. Come to think of it, I get it when i get home from work too. This has got to stop.

I even have it right now!

I'm a guy in my mid-20's and I had heard that rubbing alcohol works very well in clearing up people's faces, so I decided to give it a try. It does seem to work well with pimples but, the problem I've had, is that it has irritated my skin immensely after only one use. I have discontinued using it but the damage has already been done, as the area around my chin and mouth are very red and irritated.

Its been almost two weeks now and I just can't quite seem to make it go away. Originally, I had a lot of peeling but that has mostly subsided at this point. It is still a bit dry and I put lotion on it to help that but nothing seems to help with the redness (I've tried Nvidia lotion, Aloe-based sunburn products, caladryl, benadryl cream). Has anyone had a problem like this before? Short of going to the doctor, do you have any advice? I was trying to avoid going to the doctor, as I felt like it would probably take a couple of weeks just to get an appointment and cost me quite a bit.

I am 18 and I have been having migraines monthly since I was about 13. They usually aren't too bad but on Monday and Tuesday I had the worst migraine ever!!! (not being able to move at ALL, vomiting, the whole nine yards) Yesterday and today I have been so dizzy that I havent been able to get out of bed. Its frustrating and I'm worried that there might be something else wrong. My mom is going to make an appointment with the neurologist this week but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Is there anything that I can do in the meantime???

side notes:
my doctor wants to put me on birth control but my parents are SO against it.

I also felt sick last wed, thurs and fri.

My boyfriends son is 13 years old. He is complaining of headches, eye pain, blurred vision. He says he gets pain in front and over his eyes. He had an eye exam in Aug. or Sept.
It came back ok, and he was given glasses for reading. What type of doctor should we take him too? I was thinking a neurologist. What type of problem can he have? I know you always think the worse like brain tumor, or cancer so I don't want to jump the gun either. He has suffered from headaches for a very long time, and now is having vision problems too!
His headaches are not everyday, but, they are painful.
Thanks for any advise.

There is A LOT of depressed people in even the United States.
I myself took anti depressant medication and it did not seem to help. Maybe I did not take it long enough but I often feel waves of depression. I have had to change jobs in my middle age and that itself is stressful for me and now the company I work for is having what appears to be serious problems and I am worried about changing jobs again. I took a massive pay cut when I had to change careers. Why do I see this as depressing?
