I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but being tired during the day implies that you aren't getting enough quality sleep at night. If this is a consistent problem for you, talk to your doctor. Do you snore? Toss and turn all night? Have leg pains? Get headaches in the morning? All of these can point to real, underlying problems, which can be fixed. Your doctor can refer you to a sleep clinic, where they can determine if there are any sleep disorders.

I work in a sleep lab, and I promise these test do not hurt at all. Actually, it happens to be National Sleep Awareness Week, so a good time to ask sleep related questions. Check out http://www.sleepfoundation.org/site/c.huIXKjM0IxF/b.2417141/k.C60C/Welcome.htm for more information.

Lack of physical activity can make you feel tired all the time as well as loading your body down with toxins that are in the "food" now a days. People can feel like crap in the mornings if they sleep on an unsupportive mattress or when the chemicals in your mattress, or laundry detergent drag you down. I reccomend looking up anything from the author Kevin Tredou. He is wonderful at explaining what to do about all these toxins are money making companies are putting into our products that will eventually bring you down

Alot of it has to do with what kind of sleeping situation you have. I found that out the hard way .. i was going to bed at 8:30 and waking up at 6 in the morning .. plenty hours of sleep. But the entire day i was still incredibly groggy, i couldnt understand why. My doctor told me it was my horrible bed and that all I was doing was tossing and turning all night long without me even knowing ... so i replaced my bed and now i feel better then ever!

maybe you dont sleep a lot specially at night, sleeping helps a lot tried to shut down anything thats makes you awake and closed youe eyes, one more thing is that smoking and drinking caffein this makes your body restless so try to stop some of this habit.

Perhaps the weather is the cause, usually in winter months.
Eat an apple or drink some coffee.
