My girlfrind has a BMI if 25.2 and wants to try and lose around 1-2 stone and is considering a vegan or vegitarian diet. As I know there are a lot of vegans and vegitarians on this site have you got any tips to eat like this heathily and lose weight?

She does to exercise most days already but its the healthy diet she wants to work out.

All you meat lovers out there can answer too as long as its a sensible answer, thanks =:-)
PS: I think she's fine as she is but I'm sure most females out there understand that she won't take my word for it nomatter what I say lol.

I am going to join. but i donk know whether to try weight watchers as i have never done this slimming programme before but i have done slimming world and was successful with it.

right now i'm leaning toward an IUD beacause i dont really have to do much with it for a few years but the risks (tearing/becoming imbedded into uterine wall) are kinda making it ify. anyone care to share any expirences with these methods of BC? thanks much

My daughter experiences what she says is severe stomach pain around her monthly. The doctor said it was probably cramps and uterine contractions that was making it feel like her stomach. I don't know because anytime I've had cramps, they have always been in my lower back and pelvic area. Does anyone else feel these in the stomach area?

I have changed from microgynon 30 to yasmin because i was getting a bit of acne with the microgynon. I had to start taking the Yasmin straight away so there was no break between the two for birth control reasons. But, so far my spots have been a million times worse and I was told that Yasmin was the best pill for skin conditions?

So I am wondering if the left over hormones from the microgynon are still causing these spots, or a mix of the two pills is having a reaction and perhaps the spots will vanish once I have been on the Yasmin pill for a little longer and the microgynon has left my system..

I will give it more time anyway until I am due back to the clinic for a check up (in 2 months) but I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience who could give me some advice... or reassurance..

When i exercise, i have pains on my pelvis bone because of an operation. I was 123kgs and now i am 105kgs. I have lost weight by doing walking on trademill and eating boiled food & fruits. Now doctors have stopped my exercise. Hence by question.

I have reached the end of my tunnel, and still see no light. I have no one to turn to and i am desperate and depressed, turning every which way and finding no way out. I have recently gone emo but managed to stop cutting myself. I cant find a way out!! my underware/urine smells of a fresh bottle of strong ammonia. This happens once a month for 2 days, then it's gone. I always drink plenty of water. I don't have a bladder or urinary infection because I have a chemical urinalysis and microscopic done on my urine. My husband agrees with me about the this very strong smell.

Always scared and nervous, with heavy heartbeats, and often, dying of embarrassment, with a red face, and the feeling of being a damn stupid idiot. I have cried, I have been humiliated by people who don't know better, and I have felt so lonely and sad.

I work shift work and I never go to or get off of work at the same time.
I am having severe problems sleeping. Last night I slept a total of about an hour and was very tired today. I thought that I would be able to sleep well tonight...4 hours and an ambian cr later, still awake. Any suggestions?

Going on for ove a year and just got dingosed yesterday. My neurolgist says to were "Support gloves both arms" so I am. Are their any other treament options for this instead of surgary?

If not then is surgary painful will you fill anything or notice anything?

I need them removed because the teeth are forming 90 degrees angle. The dentist said I will need to go to the specialist to get them extracted. However he's done an emergency surgical to help me with the gum infections ( which is really bad) I need stiches, and have to take antibiotik and have to pay $500, also need to come back again next week to remove the stiches.

my question is how much to have your wisdom tooth removed? and cant you do it in regular dentist? if not, where is the best place to go to in sydney? (preferrable affordable).

I have a cyst on my eyelid but want to try alternitive treatment before I see a doctor.I have been taking silica which has helped the one in my earlobe,but the one on my eye is about the size of a small rice bubble. Thank you .
