my underware/urine smells of a fresh bottle of strong ammonia. This happens once a month for 2 days, then it's gone. I always drink plenty of water. I don't have a bladder or urinary infection because I have a chemical urinalysis and microscopic done on my urine. My husband agrees with me about the this very strong smell.

It may not be your urine that you are smelling. It may be discharge. Your discharge changes throughout your cycle. I would guess that the change , if it is every month for 2 days, is happening around the time of ovulation.
However, if you have any concerns I would go see a doctor to rule out any other sort of infection.
Drinking cranberry juice flushes out the bladder and helps to prevent infection as does yogurt help to prevent yeast infections.

Get your dog neutered. That will stop the spraying. After that, keep a close eye on him for a while and run him outside to urinate. He may need retraining now. For furniture and carpet, use Nature's Miracle from PetSmart. You want to pour on enough to soak the affected area, then let it dry. After that, you may want to wipe the furniture with a damp cloth if it feels odd, and shampoo the carpet however you regularly do it to remove any residue of the cleaner. For anything that can go in the washing machine, add some ammonia to your detergent for colored items and bleach to white items. For walls and hard-surface floors, ammonia or any good cleaner. Do not mix ammonia and bleach. Both are bad to breathe, but very effective and cheap.

When urine sits at room temperature, some of the chemicals in the urine may break down and cause an ammonia-like odor. This is quite normal. If you are concerned you should discuss this further with you GP who can test otherwise. But it is quite normal.

Abnormal urine odor may indicate:

Hepatic (liver) failure
Ketonuria
Maple sugar urine disease (very rare)
Phenylketonuria (rare)
Rectal fistula
Urinary tract infection

It smells like that because you are ovulating. It's okay, It's natural, don't freak out. It's absolutely normal for female urine to smell like amonia. If I'm correct, it bleaches your underware a little as well. It's okay, that just means that you're at the time of the month where you're particularly suceptible to getting pregnant.
