No you don't need to shave or wax down below. Just make sure that you wash the area beforehand and take a shower.

Don't EVER wax or shave your vulva, PERIOD. Men are not impressed by that. Natural is way better. Further, a doctor EXPECTS hair 'tween yer legs girl !

I usually keep mine trimmed, short but not shaved. Hair tends to hold smell in.

its not a SMEAR TEST, you twit, its a pap test, and unless you are tryin to impress your dr, don't bother shaving, he's seen millions of em, but please, take a bath, with soap and WATER.
