I have to be to work a hour and a half and my job consist of talking on the phone. I have already missed a day and half because of this really bad cold I have. I am very congested and I cant stop coughing or sneezing. But now I woke up and my voice is hardly there. Any ideas? Please?

advice and help on medical matters. So many of us come on here and ask some very specific medical questions perhpas hoping for an answer that will help them with a medical problem.

And when we get medical advice do we follow it up or do we go to seek further advice from a medical professional?.

I am as bad as anyone asking medical questions on here, but I always seek proper counsel as well.

What do you think; Do you ask medical question, if so what do you do then?

my right wrist has been swollen for the past 2 weeks. it is red and swollen and it hurts when i tried to rub it. the veins are like very vislble and pain too when i just rub it. i am worried it is urine acid but the doctor say it might not, thus gotta wait 2 weeks for the blood test. but now my right hand is facing the big problem of no strength, i cannot carry things as the wrist will feel the pain. help anyone?

Aches and pains in my top half.
Frequent urination (no pain)
Slight nausea (feels like I have cattarah in my throat)
Bit sniffly - but not a runny nose

I'm thinking some sort of flu. What do you reckon?

Staying off sugar, and flour...but it's winter here, and seems I stored some fat that won't come off!!!

I had a blood test earlier this week and have now been told that i will have to do a fasting test...does this mean i have diabetes? or do they do fasting test for other things?
I have been feeling very tired lately(although i have just got over a virus of some sort and other members of my family).
Im dreading having diabetes and feel very frightened of the results.

I have a sore spot about 3-4 inches above my bellybutton, and about 3-4 inches to the left of my bellybutton (from my perspective), on the inside.

It doesn't hurt all the time, but it does feel very sore for at least a few hours of each day.

I don't have a doctor here, and it will be a couple of months before I can get to one.....

any ideas? If it's an ulcer is there anything I can eat/avoid that will help?

I sometimes feel nauseous too.

I have recently stop taking celexa and have had dizzyness, a shocking taste and feel in my mouth also very sleepy. Are these normal symptoms? I was also on paxil and have stoped taking it for about two weeks. I stopped taking the celexa about 72 hours ago. How long will these symptoms last? I needed to stop taking this medication because my husband and I want to have a baby. How long will it be in my system. On the Paxil I could not get pragnet at all because It gave me long hard periods. We switched to the celexa thinking it might be safer but we read it can cause lung problems and desided it wasn't worth the risk. Is there any antianxiety medication I can take that will be safe during pragnacy? I have flash backs and nightmares also along with anxiety. They are the same symptoms people from war have.

How do u tell a guy u seeing dat he got "BO" in a nice way? without offending him?

I've ever bought him a set of guys Toiletries tat comes with a deodorant spray... hee i know i'm quite bad, but u ve to understand, it's quite irritating to smell that.... esp, i'm very sensitive to tat smell!!
