Eggs are a great source of protein, however keep in mind that the yolk is high in cholesterol also, but the whites are full of protein.

If you're avoiding ALL meat (ie. fish and chicken too) then consider eggs along with legumes like beans/pulses/lentils/chickpeas, nuts and seeds, pulses, soya products like tofu, soya milk and textured soya protein such as soya mince, cereals like wheat, oats, and rice, and some dairy products like milk, cheese and yoghurt.

A great full-on protein meal I like is a big hearty cheese and mushroom omelette - it's got the eggs, the milk, the cheese, and mushrooms are full of loads and loads of goodness! :)

Beans and eggs are high in protein. Also, you can eat peanut butter, protein bars, and protein shakes. I recommend Muscle Tech's Nitro Tech. It's the best tasting protein shake I've had. Mix it with water or milk and you'll get 20-30g per serving, respectively.

dairy- cheese, milk, yoghurt, etc
nuts & seeds& legumes- cashews, almonds, walnuts, soya beans, chick peas, lentils etc. eg peanut butter, mexican beans, felafel, tofu products, baked beans
grains- oats, corn, coucous, rye, barley, wheat products (eg bread, pasta) etc
Eggs

...of course there are heaps of different sources of protein, it just depends on what you like!

Milk, cheese, yogurt, fish, eggs, beans, soy. Rice has also an amount of protein. If you are an adult you should not have any problems (even if you want to avoid fish). Good luck on your diet.

if you can get familiar with vegetarian fare, that would be the ticket.
