Sirsasana or headstand is also called the King of all Poses because it benefits our entire body and all our systems. It has been said that because there is an increase in blood flow to our head when we are in this inversion, it stimulates the scalp and facial areas as well.

While this makes sense to a certain degree, there are many factors that influence our physical aging such as genetics, lifestyle and diet. Falling hair or baldness are usually inherited or caused by stress; facial features age more rapidly when exposed to sun, or from cigarette smoking and stress, as well as eating unhealthily.

All in all, doing sirsasana will defenitely have its benefits, but it is certainly not a cure-all. Combining a well-balanced and healthy diet, reduced stress, etc. are major contributing factors to our physical beauty and health.
