My daughter experiences what she says is severe stomach pain around her monthly. The doctor said it was probably cramps and uterine contractions that was making it feel like her stomach. I don't know because anytime I've had cramps, they have always been in my lower back and pelvic area. Does anyone else feel these in the stomach area?

YES!..... :( ...and I'm experiencing them now. They hurt. Have her take Ibuprofen (sp) - that helps! Or Midol. Both work great!
Get her a heating pad too.

It's normal, don't worry. I get severe cramps in stomach and lower back pain.

Yes, the pain could cause feelings like someone is being hit in the stomach.

If these cramps are affecting her ability to function a daily basis I would recommend getting back in touch with her dr. If the dr won't do anything then pls get another opinion.
