Okay so my periods are VERY eratic every month. I can be a few days late up to a month late...so I really don't keep track of it because what's the point if you don't honestly know when it's coming. My mom says I need to be put on birth control, but I heard that you gain a lot of weight while on birth control, and I really don't feel like losing my figure. What do you think I should do? Live with the irregular periods or gain a whole bunch of weight? PLEASE HELP!!

I recently visited the dentist and they said I had a receding gum line. They educated me on how to brush lighter and in circles. I understand that this will stop the gums from receding but will it repair the damage that I have already done? Any other suggestions?

i am a 27 year old lady no children never got pragnent,Every time when im on my periods i get this severe pains in my abdomen stomach,neausea,dizzness , diarriah and headaches
When i started the periods i did feel some pains but they were not severe like now,now when im on my periods i cant even work,this started early 2005
I did go to the doctor she told me she does not know the reason,what i must do is to take pain killers 2 days before,but still it does not help and im using the strongest pills still not helping
I just want to know what causes this pains all of a sudden and how can i treat them

I'm training for the US Navy's new Eliptical Trainer Physical Readiness test and it uses the calorie meter on the trainers. I was wondering if anyone knew how these machines calculated calories burned. A formula would be great. Thanks.

Iv herd one of the side effects is weight gain..
Am already a size14 and if this is going to happen dont think am going to do it....
Cant use the pill as it doesnt agree with me.
Was gunna have that implant in your arm but i have had friends in the passed who have had it and its got infected!!!
Actually dont even know a friend thats had it and it hasnt gone wrong... lol

For the last week and 1/2, I have felt very weird. I have been light-headed, my stomach has been growling all the time, like I am extremely hungary even though I eat regular. I feel like I am starving in the mornings even though I hardly ever eat breakfast. I have been feeling very queasy lately and don't know what to make of it. Like last night I was dead asleep and woke up almost throwing up on my boyfriend. Also, whenever I go out and drink with my friends, I can usually drink everyone under the table and still can but when I get home, I'm not drunk (only buzzing), lay down to go to sleep, get up and throw up, for the last 3 nites in a row. Any Idea what could be wrong with me?? Before I have to go to the doctor??

After having surgery I have my usual scar but I also have darker tissue around the scar. Is there any way to lighten the darker skin around the scar or is it possible to get rid of the darker tissue all together? It is on my ankle and very noticeable in the spring and summer months when wearing shorts.

i notice my boyfriend twitch a couple times while he sleeps. and i also noticed that i also twitch when i sleep cause i wake up, but then i fall asleep again. i'm guessing i twitched once because i only woke up once. can someone tell me if this is normal and what it means when we twitch..?? thanks.

I have developed a ganglion (bump) on my left wrist. I am right-handed. At first I thought it might be caused by too much knitting, but it was suggested that too much keyboarding might actually be the cause. I've heard that you can hae them surgically removed, but they tend to come back. I have also heard that sometimes they go away on their own. Any one have any luck in getting rid of them?

I hear so many different things. I am afraid to even TOUCH the stuff b/c of the way people mess with it. My mom said not to b/c it isn't the same now as it was when she was my age.
