It started off as a bump and now it's oozing that yellow stuff. What do I do?

this happened to me two times ok go to the doctor they might have to cut it and squeeze out the puss It hurts and is gross but, you have to or you might get infection in your blood and that's not good he will probably give you antibiotics and next time lay off the razor and buy wax trust me I been there.after that you more then likely will be told for a week to sit in hot water untill it heals good luck.

Run a tub of bath water then add 1/2 bottle of peroxide to it, bathe in this. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times but it should clear the boil up/off. If this doesn't help, see a dr.

If you are SURE it is just a boil and not an STD lesion, you should place warm, moist compresses to it (very warm wet wash cloth). All that yuck will come to a head and come out. Very IMPORTANT---if you get a fever, nausea and vomiting, read streaks in the area, swelling or it doesn't get better pretty soon, see your doctor. Also--practice good handwashing--you don't want to spread the yuck.

As hard as it may be do not squeeze it like you would a pimple. Let it be - go soak in a hot tub. Keep the area clean.
Seems like it is on the road to be okay. As painful as it probably is.
If it doesn't disappear and there is still a lump or hardness under the skin....you should make a DR's appointment and your DR MIGHT want to *lance* the boil....fancy term for removng it.

Get on some antibiotics. Whatever you do DO NOT TRY TO POP IT. I have seen patients who have come in with what started out as an ingrown hair and have ended up dead because they could not quit messing with it. Get on Antibiotics immediately. A warm soak in some Epsom salts can help to bring out the infection as well as ease the pain a little.

Put some of that yellow stuff on your finger and smell it. If your hand jerks away from your nose really fast, you're in trouble!!

are you sure its a boil? It may be gential herpes. do not touch it, that will cause it to spread, I would check with a doctor.
